Well, here we are...how many seasons later since I last posted?

What a spring, summer + now fall we've had! Full of projects, events, learning, growing + beauty. As the garden is now put to bed, there is still work to be done. Reflecting, planning, dreaming.

The tulips won’t stop! But I’m here for it. This is actually my first time growing tulips + I’ve really loved all the different varieties. The doubles, the parrots, the peony style. Great colors! I’m already putting together my “must-grow” list for next year. 🌷

I’m so proud + excited to have finished my Floret Workshop! The 6 week course could be completed at your own pace, and honestly, I think I dragged it out a bit because I didn’t want it to end! Erin + Jill of shared their wealth of knowledge with all of us growers and I’m so inspired. I have met local flower friends, connected within our growing community and learned so much about growing our flowers AND growing our business. I’m so excited to jump into our 2021 season.

It’s an exciting day here!!!!!! ’s book is finally out today! My little apprentice loves dahlias just like her mama. And loves to watch Erin’s Floret workshop videos with me! She’s a little starstruck 🤩

My excited shadow on this beautiful 60 degree day! I took a little spring walk around our growing space + found so much green that overwintered great. The ranuncs are hanging outside. Plus some tulips peeking through!

That early spring feeling...when I literally just sit + stare out the window, just willing the snow to melt + the temps to warm. Mentally planning out additional beds, visualizing the garden in bloom + what will be where this year. I can’t wait!!! It’s exciting, but it’s also restlessness that becomes anxiety at times. Who can relate!?

I’m almost recovered from our first Valentine’s season. Last year, our company was still brand new at this time, so we were still fine tuning all our paperwork + behind the scenes business stuff, not doing anything flower related yet!
