HAPPY EARTH DAY! We are stoked to announce that with the proceeds of NPFF 2024, we've donated approximately $9,500 to river conservation & access organizations across the globe!

The 2024 NPFF came to a close over the weekend, but not without one final award...

CONGRATULATIONS to Andrew Dunning for their film "Symphony of the Kings" as it won the VIEWER'S CHOICE AWARD!

If you didn't get a chance to check out "Symphony of the Kings”, remember that you can curate your own NPFF with our roadshows! Andrew’s film + hundreds of others from years past are available to rent throughout the year for your group's fundraiser or project. Details can be found at npff.org/roadshow.

On Saturday evening Mountain River Media will present its third film, ‘Freeland ~ A Blackwater Story’ at the National Paddling Film Festival . You can view the film by purchasing an online portal ticket at www.npff.org for $5 dollars, supporting this event for future years.

This film has been one of the greatest honors of the Mountain River Media family to tell, and we are grateful to everyone involved. See you on Saturday night from Kentucky.

The NPFF is proud to partner with Small World Adventures - Kayaking Ecuador(SWA) this year to direct a portion of our proceeds to the Ecuadorian organization, Yaku Churis. Yaku Churis means "children of the river" in Kichwa. Started by a local Ecuadorian paddler, the goal of Yaku Churis is to show kids local to Rio Jatunyacu the value of rivers beyond extractive purposes - through kayaking - so that one day they can advocate for, and influence decisions about the river. SWA has generously donated a 7-day kayaking trip in Ecuador to our online auction. They literally wrote the book on kayaking in Ecuador, and have been offering guided trips in Ecuador since 1993. They guarantee to send you home tired & happy after 7-days of paddling Ecuador's world class rivers. Our auction launches on Mon., Feb. 12 where you can bid on this trip of a lifetime, and help us raise money for Yaku Churis! Details dropping soon here & at npff.org.
