12 Hours of Capitol View Park

In need of a food truck this Saturday at Capitol View Park from around 11am-4/5 pm. About 100-130 mountain bike racers, and another 200-300 spectators. The truck we had on the schedule just bailed :O. You would be the only truck there. Please send them my way of you know of an available truck.

Happy Tuesday to all! I am in need of help securing at least 2 food trucks for a 12 hour mountain bike race at Capitol View Park on August 19th. If anyone has a food truck, or has a friend with a food truck; please send them my way. Right now we anticipate 200-300 hungry mountain bikers (and friends/family) will be there. Congratulations to the Kentucky Interscholastic Cycling League (KICL) on joining the National Interscholastic Cycling League (NICA)! 🚲🚲🚲 “We are stoked to have the opportunity to provide such a great experience to all Kentuckians,” said KICL Director Steve Beckett. “Giddy Up!”

KICL and NICA will provide Kentucky communities with opportunities to engage their youth (grades 6th through 12th) in mountain-bike riding, racing, camps, clinics, and trail stewardship and advocacy. Beckett says you can get involved through volunteering, coaching, or sponsoring a team or just one kid in your local area. To learn more, email [email protected].

Hello, everyone! I just wanted to share with you some numbers from the race.
There were 149 racers registered. We had 146 people that completed the 11 mile loop at least once! After all miles were calculated, we rode a total of 5,885 miles in 12 hours.

We had racers from 9 states: KY, TN, LA, OH, IN, VA, MI, NC and MO!

There were 3 youth solo racers in the under 18 category. We had 7 solo women, 19 4 person teams, 11 duo teams, 6 masters, 31 solo men, and 2 singlespeed.

Somehow with the Capital View 12 Hour race photos that were posted we seemed to forget the podium pic! We took home 2nd place this with a very fast team and solid effort from everyone.
