Chabad Jewish Center - Upper Passaic County really knows how to throw a party! Celebrating Chanukah with them was terrific , and the rain held off for the whole party! Face painting, balloon twisting, a petting zoo (I got to hold a python after face painting!) lots of music, and gelt! Plus, of course, the menorah lighting.

The pumpkin painting party is one of our favorite events every year! Two face painters, a balloon twister, glitter tattoos, and fairy hair! And always gorgeous weather! How cute is this raccoon?

Eric and I had a wonderful time on Saturday, with face painting, temporary tattoos, cotton candy, and popcorn at the Foundation's annual music festival! Everyone was so terrific, and there was such great energy! If you weren't there this year, definitely check it out next year! BetheLi9ht is such an amazing organization with an important purpose.

My first ever request for roller skates! She was going to a roller skating party after this event... which made me want to to pull out my skates and go too. And yup, I still have roller skates - the traditional kind, with the wheels on 4 distinct points in a plane. Honestly? Roller blades scare me! How about you? Skates or blades?
