Jurassic pork had a fantastic day at kids Que this weekend!
put on a kids Q double!
They finished 3rd in meatloaf and 3rd in anything pineapple. Good enough for 2nd overall! RGC!!!

What a weekend we had at the Inclusive BBQ Events events Weekend of Giving. This contest was a grueling travel across the field since Wrentham American Legion Post 225 is our home base. Once we recovered from the travel it was time to cook.

Saturday was The Kansas City Barbeque Society one meat contests in chicken and ribs. Then a Kids Q double!! Here are the results

Jurassic Pork (Mike’s son’s Kids Q team)
3rd place Meatloaf with a classic meatloaf
3rd place Anything Pineapple with a pineapple upside down cake
2nd place overall!!!

Congrats to Starla from smoke sisters with 1st place finish in both categories and a perfect perfect 180 in pineapple!

In the one meats we finished
Chicken🐔-14th
Ribs🐖-10th

Second day we hosted the 9:22 and did our best to live up to 16 Mesh BBQ standards

We had a great cook all around and it was enough to get us our first KCBS Reserve Grand Champion!!!! Here is how we finished

Chicken🐔-12th place (Living the thigh life)
Ribs🐖-11th place
Pork🐷-2nd place! (Been overhauling this all season)
Brisket🐄-1st place!!
Overall-2nd

Honorable mention to Q Shanty finishing just .04 behind us to finish 3rd. Rico and crew killing it this season

After a long grueling drive we finally made it to the Wrentham American Legion Post 225 for The Weekend of Giving by Inclusive BBQ Events. We are set for the KCBS 1 meats on Saturday and the KCBS 4 meat on Sunday. Let's do this!!!

Come on out to the Wrentham American Legion Post 225 on November 9th!!! Northeast Barbecue Society is putting on a Chicken and Ribs contest along with a standalone contest for steak! This past weekend Wash BBQ teamed up with to compete in to form we up with 1st Place Chicken 1st Place anything Brisket (todays ancillary) 3rd place Pork and 3rd Place Ribs. Mikes son Colton took 1st place in kids Q.

Let’s go cook teams and bbq enthusiests!!! Come cook chicken and ribs at the Wrentham American Legion Post 225 on November 9th! We also will have the first ever NEBS standalone steak event! We will be cooking NY Strips provided by The Meat Bar Marketplace!!! This will be one of the last contests of the year and will support the legion and veterans in the area. Room for 60+ teams!!!! Almost forgot to mention Kids Q will be anything Oreo and is free for all kid teams to do! Signups now being accepted at nebs.org!!!!
