What an absolutely beautiful Quinceañera for Alexandria. Family and friends came together to provide some of the most beautiful table decorations to ever grace our facility. The professional services of DJ Willie Cruz 1R DJ'S providing everything from music, lighting and even fog machines and the cuisine from Don Panchos put this party over the top. It is truly gratifying to work with our customers to fulfill the dream they want to accomplish, then watch the amazing transformation of Main Event. Happy birthday Alexandria, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your celebration.

Franklin Cruise In

Blackwater Community Events proudly welcomes you to downtown Franklin this Saturday, April 27th.
The Franklin Cruise-In Kickoff, Vintage Festival, Car Swap Meet, Franklin's Market on Main farmers market, and the Franklin Garden Club Home & Garden Tour are all happening this Saturday in downtown Franklin. To help everyone get in and around the following map details street closures and detours.
Car and custom vehicle participants should enter on South Main street, either end of First Ave, or West Second Ave. Participant parking will be on closed roads and in RED shaded areas.
Trailer Parking is available at the very southern end of Main Street.
Handicap Parking is available at the upper City Hall parking lot.
Spectator / retail parking is available at all GREEN shaded areas on map.
Home & Garden tour parking will be in the PURPLE shaded lots.
We look forward to seeing everyone there.

He is also embarking on his acting career, with experience in theater. Comedian T-Ray is one of the most requested comedians in the comedy business. His pep rally style of comedy is sure to entertain you and keep you amused, while also sending out a message of motivation. He has had the honor to work with several well known comedians such as Chris Tucker, Eddie Griffin, Bill Burr,Amy Schumer, Katt Williams, and Gary Owens. T-Ray has also been seen on B.E.T’s Comic View, HGTV, NBC, Gotham Comedy Live, Comedy Central and the Tyler Perry show. You won't want to miss a night with T-Ray, so get your tickets now!

Franklin Southampton Economic Development

We are excited to share that Governor of Virginia Ralph Northam announced a $75.7 million investment in Southampton County. Enviva Partners, LP will expand their wood pellet production facility and increase usage of Virginia forest products.

Another great evening at Main Event Comedy Club. Mike Easmeil, Lionel Harris, and Tim Loulies started out the night with a comical view of the world we live in. Then Brett Leake filled the room with laughter with his inspirational and motivational comedy that not only made us laugh but made us see the humor in all the little oddities we are surrounded by. A good time was had by all!
