Meet the Officiant!
Hi, I'm Dawn, the unique wedding officiant!
What makes me unique? I provide meaningful ceremonies that reflect the couple's love story. And, my quirky personality is a plus! I also provide the ceremony the couple wants, not what others expect. You want a handfasting, I got you! You want a religious ceremony, I got you! You want something more non-traditional, I got you! Remember, it IS your wedding day!
Who am I? I am by far not your average officiant. I am a fun-loving, roller coaster riding, tattooed (19) and pierced (30), heavy metal listening, seasoned, outspoken, outgoing woman. I can connect with couples of all ages, all ethnicities, all nationalities, all genders, all lifestyles, all belief systems. I will never stand in judgement over anyone, although I will call out injustice and wrongful actions.
What is my reason for choosing this profession? I became ordained in 2016 to ensure that ALL couples who wish to be married have a safe, caring, respectful option in this crazy world. I love hearing the stories of how a couple met, how they fell in love, how they proposed. And I especially love seeing the look in their eyes as they stare at each other during the ceremony, the look of someone who sees their forever in the person their heart chose.
Where do I serve? I provide my services throughout Tennessee and Kentucky. I am open to travel outside of my service area, especially if there is an amusement park within a few hours of the ceremony location
What other services do I provide? I also provide day-of coordination for those couples who just need someone to execute their plan according to their wishes while also relying on my years of professional experience. And along with my husband, we provide DJ services for weddings and private events.
