Nighttime Pub looks AMAZING. All it's missing is you. We're shooting for a November 5th opening. Seems like we should all emphasize community that night.

We won't be selling anything, but the doors will be open. More details in the event announcement coming as soon as I can confirm Team Plumbing will have the bathroom ready.

Helloooooo!!! After a long pause for construction, we're getting ready to open! The bar's looking amazing, and Mandi has started on the Be Kind mural.

More details in the next couple of days!

--> We're still hitting a wall on the septic permitting, so we're BYOB for the time being. Fingers crossed this gets resolved soon.

Friend of the Pub Brent and I got the bar wall built this week. The woodworkers will be in soon to put the bar top on, then we'll be pouring resin!

We did it! The Pub was the perfect place for Trivia Night and Paint & Sip for our family reunion this weekend.

Welp, week three was almost a total bust. This current variant is a jerk.

The good news is that team bar/counter has been hard at work, and the electrical supplies were delivered on Tuesday. We'll be there all week getting ready for a family event or two this weekend. Onward!

Week 2: Finished up all of the ladder painting in the showroom! Thanks, Mandi!

Lots of folks have stopped in to visit, including the wastewater engineer. Permits submitted for construction (ADA bathroom upgrades and a second egress door) and wastewater (installation of two underground holding tanks). Marvin and John have started work on the local lumber that will become the long counter by the window and the bar top. The electricians, Travis and Nate, have scoped out the joint and the parts will be delivered on Tuesday. Plumber comes next week to look at that side of things. 🤞

Week 1 - havin' fun!

We've done a lot of cleaning over the last week! Mandi tackled the two bathrooms, and we all pitched in on walls and floors in the showroom. Don helped with furniture removal and was the transportation lead.

John and Tim made a good start on painting the ceiling and upper walls - turns out 5 gallons was not quite enough for either, so I'll be grabbing a few more gallons from Greene's tomorrow.

Paul (who installed the current carpet back in the day) and Adrian dropped by to look at the carpet and tile. Looks like we can keep the tile and replace the carpet. Perfect.

There's a lot more to be done, but it's underway!
