Zach Pietrini’s Midwestern, indie americana songwriting aesthetic is the sonic embodiment of a well-worn denim jacket. At the forefront of the Americana resurgence, Pietrini—lead vocalist and guitarist for his namesake band—takes an everyman’s approach to the genre with a knack for honest storytelling and a wistfulness that comes across in both the music and lyrics. The band takes its cues from Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, and David Ramirez, reinterpreting and rejuvenating American roots styles through a contemporary lens. Pietrini’s songs “situate him at the confluence of all that an urban Millennial audience finds relatable” (Milwaukee Magazine), performing old-soul themes of ennui, regret, disappointment, and nostalgia with a modern twist. Pietrini came up on the Chicago music scene before moving to Milwaukee, where he honed his signature “foot-tapping and pensive steel-guitar-driven” style (Milwaukee Magazine), making regular appearances at Summerfest, Mile of Music, Bastille Days, and other festivals. The band has also toured prolifically throughout the United States, including opening for Huey Lewis and the News (5,000 in attendance) and playing SXSW, returning home often to play at local venues like Anodyne and Colectivo Backroom as well as house shows in living rooms around Milwaukee. Pietrini’s dynamic live performances are intimate, yet high-energy, and his “beguiling friendliness” (88Nine), “nearly confounding” versatility (Shepherd Express), and laid-back stage presence bring a very Wisconsin sense of Gemütlichkeit to his shows. Voted Best Live Act in Milwaukee by Milwaukee Magazine and regularly in the running for Best Band in Milwaukee by 88Nine, The Zach Pietrini Band is released its 9th release in 2022- Rock & Roll is Dead.

As featured on Spotify’s ‘Got Blues’ and ‘Best Blues of 2022’ editorial playlists, Andy Kahrs’ distinct blend of roots genres, coupled with his “vocal prowess” (Music Mecca) and slide-guitar/fingerpicking style bring his southern roots and storytelling sensibilities to life. His authentic tone draws equally from Randy Travis and Otis Redding, yet stands out as uniquely his own. Originally from Atlanta, GA, Kahrs has made Nashville, TN his home since 2018.

Kahrs has worked with producers Zach Allen (Keb’ Mo’, Kingfish) and Bobby Holland (Maggie Rose, ZZ Ward) for recent releases, and is preparing a new acoustic project for release in the first half of 2024. In addition to touring his original music, Kahrs performs across the US as the lead singer and guitarist in ‘Rhinestone: The Songs of Glen Campbell’, paying tribute to one of country’s music’s brightest stars while raising awareness for Alzheimer’s research.

With thousands of monthly Spotify listeners and a busy touring schedule, Kahrs has made a name for himself as one to watch in the Americana scene. His upcoming 2024 releases and tour will feature an acoustic sound that experiments with the well-worn boundaries of blues and slide guitar.

Mike Mizwinski, better known simply as Mike Miz is a singer/songwriter/guitarist from Northeast Pennsylvania known for soulful and energetic live performances. Mike regularly performs over 200 dates a year and has had the privilege to open for Jason Isbell, Jakob Dylan, Blues Traveler, Derek Trucks, America, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Lukas Nelson, Shawn Colvin, Leon Russell, Chris Isaak, Peter Wolf, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, and many more. His 2021 single ‘Virginia’ was called “a monster of a jam rocker” by Rolling Stone. The new album ‘Only Human’ came out on LA based Blackbird Record Label on April 14 2023. Mike currently resides in Nashville TN.

🗓️NEXT THURSDAY: 6pm - TRENT INGRAM grew up in Bluffdale, Utah and is known most for his songwriting, social presence, and his energetic, interactive live show. Beginning his musical career at a young age, he has performed with several groups as an acoustic guitarist and lead vocalist. Since moving to Nashville in 2019, he has performed at prominent venues such as Commodore Grille and The Bluebird Cafe, had a two-year headlining residency at the historic Sutler Saloon, and has been featured in both Nashville Voyager and CanvasRebel magazines. He currently tours the U.S. with his band promoting his current Nashville released singles with more releases planned within the year.

7pm - PAUL ERDMAN has been singing his whole life. Paul’s style blends true country songwriting with blues, rock and roll and pop to create a sound that is new and different while being recognizable and classic.
