This is not a post directly regarding Louisiana Castle. This is J. Lynn, Dolly's creative designer and marketer. (The person who designed and hosts her new website and posts on this page.. and.... a former Castle Bride.)
Louisiana Castle just received a message from someone trying to SCAM Dolly by stating they wanted to PAY HER to advertise on her page. While there ARE legitimate companies that will utilize a FB page that is active and has many followers, THE MAJORITY OF THESE CONTACTS ARE BOGUS, and what they try to do is --- Get the owner of the page to add them as admins so they can take over your page, delete you off your own pages, and then get into your financial records.
Please be extremely cautious and remember the old addage, "If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is." And this goes not only for Facebook, but ANYWHERE on the internet. There are people who literally prey on individuals that are unsuspecting and unknowing. Look what they did with the young lady's event coming up next month. She is throwing a legitimate event at the castle. It is not our event. It's hers. (Shelby Fontenot and her friend Emily) She's having Santa and cookies and trying to get Franklinton and surrounding areas active in the community, granting exposure for small businesses, and bond everyone together as a community.. while collecting children's toys for Christmas. And what happened? At least 2 pages have been reported that are FRAUDULENT - all to get you to sign up and send money as a vendor or guest.
So, be SAFE out there. Be AWARE of what is being sent to you, and who is doing the sending, especially those of you with business pages. And when in doubt... follow your gut, and JUST SAY NO...

With the first couple being extremely "Newlywed" and the other couple having many years behind them, all we can say is.....
