When working with this volume of resin- personal protective gear is very important! I recently noticed that I would start to develop “pink eye” symptoms after working with resin for long periods of time. Hence adding the goggles to my PPE arsenal. It might look excessive, but now I have no more eye issues! Surprise, surprise. 🤪 I love how hands-on this medium of art is. I’m also grateful to be able to do it safely. De-mold a taper candle holder with me! This really is as hard as it looks. I legit need to do some hand strengthening exercises because some of these molds I’ve only ever had my husband de-mold. Why do I buy more expensive molds that I can’t even de-mold myself you might ask? Because they last wayyy longer than the cheapo Amazon ones and get consistently perfect dimensions 100% of the time. ✨purple and blues✨ If you have purple and blues in your bouquet…these colors preserve the truest to their original color!! If your bouquet has everything BUT purple and blue- fear not! Most flowers dry slightly darker than their original color, but nothing crazy. ✨Before and After✨ 📸: @nicole.christine.photo These flowers were a dream!!!…and the marriage even sweeter. 🥰 I am so excited for this couple- my cousin Danny and his lovely bride, @amykulus! I attended this wedding in Minnesota and flew on the plane with the flowers back to my home in Virginia- and they still turned out this perfect! Orchids and roses, ranunculus and thistles….a beautiful variety of colors and textures that complemented each other perfectly. 🥰 End result includes a 10” square, ornament, and large ring holder.
