I had a massage yesterday. Let me restate that, I had an incredible massage yesterday! I have chronic pain so getting a massage can be very helpful but I tend to wait too long.

The Spa at Hill Country Herb Garden is located at the old Fredericksburg Herb Farm. Located less than a mile from Main Street it is convenient to get to and has plenty of parking.

I had made my appointment online. The process was super easy and self-explanatory. When I arrived at the spa, I was warmly greeted, checked in and asked to fill out some history. I was offered water and chocolate to start which was a nice touch. I was then brought to the woman’s locker room. Each of the lockers has a robe and slippers for you to wear for your stay. I really appreciated the ability to lock up my things prior to going to the massage room.
Amy met me in the hall and took me to the massage room. We reviewed the level of pressure I was looking for and confirmed the type of massage I had booked.
I love a heated bed! I immediately was relaxed while I waited for her to return.
The 60 minute massage was just what I needed. She offered me water or a mimosa when the massage was over. I was also told I could use the sauna in the locker room if I was interested.
The check out process was seamless. I found out that the restaurant on campus should be open in June. The folks that own also own so that made me even more excited to see what is coming down the pike.
I thoroughly enjoyed my spa experience and will be back next week.

It was a great night with delicious food (the tuna was out of this world) interesting Mexican wines and meeting new Cabo friends.
I highly recommend! We will do it again when we return. Excelente!
