Well folks as Jim Lovell famously said on Apollo 13...Houston, we've had a problem. Penndot is now enforcing a law that apparently has been on the books in their words "since the days of Lady Bird Johnson". They are now removing yard signs from State right of ways, "even if it is on your own property" and from off ramps. I put our signs out the week before, and usually pick them up Sunday or Monday following the rodeo. The exception to this is the month of February where we have a rodeo every week through the first Saturday in March, the signs are left up because the signs say "Rodeo this Saturday Night". With this form of advertising effectively taken away from us, I am asking if anyone living in the Mercer, Crawford, Lawrence, and Venango County area, along a state road would allow me to put up a sign. Please Message the page if you may be interested in helping us out.

Thursday night open arena is back! 6-9pm no appointment needed. $10 per horse. Please place money in the lock box at the office.
Tuesday nights is sled roping @ 6pm, no reservations needed.
Wednesday nights live cattle roping @ 6pm, no reservation needed.
All sessions are cash only.
Bull riding practice pens are not back yet.
Bronc riding practice pens are available by appointment only and must be scheduled with a group of riders.

We are getting closer to the beginning of our youth rodeo series. All membership paperwork and membership fees are due by November 25. Call ins for the first rodeo will take place from 0900 Saturday November 25 through Sunday 9pm November 26. Texting is preferred 717-334-7724. Please provide name, age and events entering. We must have your paperwork before you call in.
Membership packets are available by emailing [email protected]. Please be patient for a response as we are having internet issues currently.

We usually post about fun exciting stuff. Unfortunately after recent local incidents we must be serious and notify our rodeo/horse show community about a predator targeting rodeos and horse shows. He recently upped his game from theft to assault while trying to commit a theft. He did this on Saturday at Penlands which is only 15 minutes from us. We were aware of him during Saturday nights rodeo and our parking attendants and all staff were made aware to keep an eye out for him. Fortunately he was not spotted on our property Saturday.
