1st blooming sweet pea flower. We had a loss this winter for our sweet pea flowers. The sweet pea flowers would have bloomed earlier but much of my purchased special sweet pea varieties were eaten within 24 hours of me dropping the seed in the soil. Holes were left were each seed was. So I rallied and sowed a new batch of sweet pea seeds - much of the seed was from our own saved sweet pea flower seed. This particular bloom was a voluntary self sown seed so it is with great joy to see such a pretty pallete getting ready to unfurl throughout the garden bed. Because of all the volunteer seed that germinated look out SWEET PEA FLOWER LOVERS ....we planted two sweet pea flower garden beds...beauty and fragrance coming your way in Willoway Farm and Waggle Dance Flower bouquets.

Our Peony Bouquet Subscription begins then 3 months away! I can see their red stems shooting and a few in our greenhouse are unfurling their red leaf tips. Our Spring Bouquet Subscription is less then 7 weeks from beginning. Finding beautiful art depicting the flowers grown at Willoway Farm is always nice especially in winter. Here is our little toothless trooper Summer holding a mixed bunch of peonies- coral, duchess nemour, green halo, and a pink one that may be an old fashioned variety. Intermixed you can see some asparagus leaf stems poking out.
Our Hellebores are kicking off now and stay tuned for some sweet photos of our hellebores.
Both our Spring Bouquet Subscriptions and Peony Bouquet Subscription are 4 weeks long. One in May and the peony subscription is in June. Savor the season through flowers or gift to someone you love.
