🌧️ Walton County has closed schools for Thursday September 26th.
With safety of our dance families traveling to and from the studio we will follow the school district's decision to cancel class.
🌦️ Studio will be closed 11/26 and reopen 11/27.
☀️ Saturdays Parents Night Out / Dance Party is still scheduled. 🎶

South Walton Dance Company Owner, Ashley Brooks is originally from Kentucky and enjoys sharing her love of dance on the Emerald Coast. SWDC prides themselves with offering the community with recreational & competitive dance programs. All instructors have a variety of dance training in many different backgrounds, CPR certified and are trained in the classes they instruct. We are thrilled to welcome Aubrey Morgan to our team of talented instructors at South Walton Dance Company starting this July!

With a rich background in professional dance, Aubrey brings a wealth of experience to our studio. Having danced with The New York City Ballet for 5 years and performing in The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway for 10 years, she has mastered the art of ballet and brings a unique perspective to her teaching. After her career in NYC, Aubrey made her way back to the Emerald Coast and has been sharing her passion for dance with students at various studios in the area. As a resident of Freeport, FL, she is excited to continue her journey in ballet instruction with us.

Our Story

Studio A - SoWal Dance Co, a studio focused on achieving exceptional standards of dance. We believe in nurturing creativity and artistic development.

Ms. Ashley has over 27 years of dance training. Ashley started classes at the age of 5 in her hometown dance studio and continued dancing in High School for her High School Dance Team. Ashley worked as head instructor for Universal Dance Association during college while also dancing for the University of Kentucky. She received top training on how to manage a dance classroom, teach all grade levels, and choreograph all levels of dance routines. After college, she danced for numerous semi-professional teams and cheered professionally for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League. Ms. Ashley moved to the Santa Rosa Beach area in 2016. She resides here in Walton County with her husband and three children. Upon recognizing the rapid growth in our community, she decided it was time to live out her dream and open a dance studio for the girls and boys in South Walton. All the instructors at South Walton Dance Company - Studio A look forward to sharing their love of dance with the families of the South Walton community.

Classes are weekly and tuition is paid monthly. Classes start the week of August 19, 2019 and will end on May 2020. Classes will be taught at the NEW Studio Location: Studio A in South Walton Commerce Park and ThiBod Fitness Studio. Ashley and the instructors at South Walton Dance Company are so grateful for the support from the community. A special Thanks to ThiBod Fitness for letting South Walton Dance Company use their facilities and all you families that are apart of our dance family.
