IVe only made about 30% of the goal for my mom’s headstone. everything is expensive now days 😫😫
I will continue to fundraise. But with everything on my plate. It will take a longer for me to reach my goal.

I didn’t think I was going to cook this year. My health problems have really set me back. Having to slow down has been hard.

But I love to cook. When I cook it brings me happiness. For a moment in time, I’m in my memories of being a little girl in my grandmother’s kitchen. 🥰

It’s just in some of us. I can hear my grandmother whisper in my ear telling me “add some more salt Mija” it’s so comforting. 🥰

Today was a success! I was able to make a little money, feed my family, and share some with my homeless friends. That makes my heart happy. 🫶🏼
