*Random Pro-tip for my fellow mountain junkies: With a 24% slash to National Parks employees and Yosemite's forever increasing popularity resulting in permit declines for Half Dome- consider starting your ascent at midnight with a head lamp. You can reach the dome before officials check for permits and experience sunrise on the dome and safely descend in daylight. Shh- you didn't hear it from me.😋
