It's not everyday I get to send the Groom down the aisle to Star Wars music, the wedding party (with the sweetest dogs!) to Lord of the Rings music, and the Bride down the aisle to Harry Potter music. This was a blast of a wedding that incorporated their meaningful connection to romance blossoming over the years during Thanksgiving. Did I mention the Groomsmen had samurai swords and the maid of honors had light sabers?!? Also, turns out one of my childhood friends from preschool was a bridesmaid and the Groom is also a waterpolo coach and knows my brother. What a beautiful way to kick off Thanksgiving week. Diane and Erik, you are an amazing couple and I'm so thankful for you!

Here's the WHY!
*There is A LOT that goes into wedding day. What looks like 1 day starts with hours of correspondence with your vendors, timeline creation, and getting all the crucial details for wedding day success. From rehearsal coordination and management to the actual setup of your decor (welcome table, gift table, sweetheart/ head tables, guest reception tables, dessert table, hanging neon signs, draping ceremony backdrop, attaching florals, setting up aisle florals, ceremony chair ribbons, pamphlets, name cards and more.) From there, I'm welcoming in your vendors, pinning boutonniรจres, drying bouquets, making sure the rings are with the person who is supposed to have them, filling flower girl baskets with petals, making sure the officiant has the microphone with your DJ, ensuring DJ has the correct cues and songs for ceremony and lining up everyone for ceremony. After ceremony I am transferring ceremony decorations to reception, helping move chairs, collecting your appetizers and first drinks, bustling your dress, lining up your wedding party for grand entrance, ensuring photographers have taken all the desired family/ couple/ wedding party photos, corresponding with DJ for all announcements and song preferences, serving you dinner, ensuring vendors are fed, cueing table release for dinner, opening champagne and wine bottles to have ready for speeches, keeping timeline on track through all the magical traditions, sneaking you out for sunset photos, collecting pins and dollars from your money dance, securing your gifts, cards and money into the bridal suite, cutting up cake and more! It's just as much work whether it's a Saturday or a Monday. (In fact, weekdays are harder because I have to find babysitting).
I can't offer discounted pricing as there is only so many prime dates. If I say yes to a discounted price and then get a call for someone needing service, I have to turn them down and have undercut our earnings for the month. There is only 2 of us, both with families to provide for. We work hard to give you the very best. We LOVE our clients and will continue to give our all to each and every wedding.
