For those of you that are privileged enough to have known the most kind, humble, caring, friendly, dependable, compassionate, funny, faith driven human on this earth, my friend, my right hand man, my rock solid go to ~ , please send prayers for his beautiful wife and children as they need more strength now more than ever. Rest now my fabulous friend. Thank you for teaching me so many life lessons along our journey, and for always tackling the challenges that I put us through. You pushed me to believe in myself and my crazy ideas when others thought it impossible. You are truly one of a kind. You battled like a true warrior ~ but like you said, you still win. I will forever cherish our friendship and will miss you dearly.

Part 2 of Karra & Jared’s intimate vow renewal. With 3 weeks to find the perfect setting during a pandemic, we definitely had our challenges. Luckily we found just what we were looking for at Dolphin Bay Resort in beautiful Shell Beach. This color combo is one of my personal favs ~ SO romantic! Can’t go wrong with Black, Burgundy, Blush and a bit of Gold!

Let’s Brunch! Finishing the wedding celebration weekend off with an intimate Brunch was the perfect way to continue the celebration and to also honor the newlyweds Fathers (since it fell on Father’s Day). When your flowers look this good after sitting out in 100 degrees the day before, you better bet we’re gonna use them again!!!

You can’t quarantine Love. Part 2 of Plan H. We’ve all experienced some sort of “adjustment” this year, and for those who were determined to be married definitely had their challenges. These two took it like champs and the end result was nothing short of fantastic, fun and FINALLY MARRIED!

A 90th birthday calls for a celebration ~ even during a pandemic! So many extra precautions were put into place to insure social distancing and regulations that had been mandated so that the family could be together and honor the matriarch of their family. The table settings were much more casual than deserved, but at times like these, we are reminded that a celebration is about the people you’re with.

Natalie’s Shower Part 2! Because 1 post was just not enough with all the fun details! Continuing with the Disney inspiration, the menu did not disappoint. Guests were greeted with a Pomegranate mimosa with a Cotton Candy puff with edible gold “fairy dust” & stars sprinkled on top. The first course was a mini berry basket with muffins, scones and churros waiting for the guests at their tables. Mickey shaped butterballs and individual jelly jars added a personal and individual approach. The 2nd course was a berry parfait served in a champagne coupe adorned with a mint leaf. The 3rd course ~ I think was everyone’s favorite ~ was the Mickey shaped waffles served with individual syrup shots. The 4th and last official course of the meal was an omelette station for guests to choose from.

Hello! My name is Maribel Villages and I'm a soon to be first-generation college graduate at California State University, Fresno. I'm currently finishing my last semester as a Recreation Administration major with an emphasis in Special Events & Tourism. Due to the unfortunate current world circumstance, I was let go by my initial internship site and terrified that I would not meet the requirements to graduate. Meeting Shelli Armstrong a week later and interning for her has been an extraordinary experience. A year that started with sorrow and lost promises turned into an incredible learning journey. Now I have the knowledge and experience of planning events during a Pandemic and can add that to my resume when I start my own party planning business.
