Worth a repost. Spread some love today, everyday. A smile. A hug.

I usually keep most of my posts short and sweet but I have the best story to tell. So many little miracles occurred at Robins Nest.
First an elderly gentleman came in to have flowers delivered to his dentist . He explained how he had totally interrupted the family plans with his dental emergency and was so grateful that the doctor came in on the weekend to take care of him.
Next a woman who’s husband had passed two weeks ago came in to hug me and let me know how beautiful the flowers still were . Big hugs and a few tears. Later the same day a client came in to do a little shopping and paid the balance on the Madonna a young mother had put on lay a way months ago. The two had never met. Just a pure gesture of kindness. I got to make the call to the young mother letting her know that she could come and pick up the Madonna in time for Christmas. More happy tears. Finally another woman came in and had $10 to spend on a few flowers to take to the cemetery on the anniversary of her fathers death. I carefully wrapped a bunch of white roses and gifted them to her. She told me her dad wasn’t buried here on the island but every year she took flowers to the cemetery to place on a random grave. Full circle. A day in my life I will never forget.
