Beautiful summer mornings here on San Juan Island! It doesn’t get much better. My perfect morning is waking up early, working out, getting a coffee in town followed by a walk at one of my fav spots. ☀️
Dreamy wedding prep in Millie!
Things sure have changed. I used to drive to Seattle to get all of the flowers. I’d stay overnight with my parents, wake up at 430 am to head to the market, pull my flower order together, stash it all in buckets in a beater van, drive up to the ferry, roll down the windows in line so nothing would wilt, get to the tiny home (😂😂😂) unload, process flowers, then design the next day.
Wow.
No thanks.
Now we have amazing vendors who fly in product for us, thanks guys! And fedex delivers flowers right to our barn doors. Lucky us. This saves soooo much time and stress.
It’s amazing what you can do when you just have to do it and get through it. 😅 But then there’s a time to try and make things easier on yourself. ❤️❤️
This is the first year we will actually get to enjoy the barn through the summer! The evenings in here don’t disappoint. We’re strategizing plans for a deck off of those roll up doors, and I’m strategizing where my mini fridge will go to keep wine cold. 😍
I can’t wait for our Centerpiece workshop retreat in here June 25th! You can still sign up on our website. Hope to see you there (and your friends 🥰🥰).

The spring time sunshine we’ve all been waiting for. I can’t wait for this space to be filled with flowers and fun times! It’s my happy place for sure and still a work in progress. I mean, aren’t we all? 😂💃. Hope everyone has a great day and some fun things to look forward to this week!
We’ve got kids soccer, some swimming, nice little long runs, family time and a date night. All I could ever want or ask for really. 🥰
I feel like such a rebel posting a video that’s not a reel 😂.
We have about 4 acres of property here, and there’s this small section that runs down to the water. We get the most epic sunrises and these willows are the most gorgeous privacy screen but biggest pain in the ass to maintain.
They take over about 40 ft of the property, but Brady chainsaw Ed the heck out of them this year and reclaimed a lot of the space (while still maintaining a privacy hedge.)
This is my favorite place and it’s where we hope to host a few rehearsal dinners!
Plus my dad @tinatinyhomes farm tables @sanjuanfarmtables are the most beautiful addition 🥰
The plant babies are loving this light. ☀️ 🌱 I’ve been slowly revamping my website, taking deeper breaths, and coming out of my winter hibernation (although sometimes I admittedly tuck back in 😂). Building this space was such a privilege but it also took every single ounce of energy from me. It’s been a pretty slow recovery if I’m honest.
So I’m being careful of where I’m putting my energy/who I give it to, and trying to just feel out this new chapter of life. 💕
This is a huge week for us! The new barn, Millie, is getting wrapped up by Friday (with the exception of some trim and lights and garage doors but who cares at this point 😂).
We are hosting our first ever event there on Saturday and honestly I could not ask for a better crew to attend. I feel so lucky and grateful for that. 🧡
Our online shop reopened and the response got me even more ready for the holidays and all of the fun that lies ahead.
Thanks for being here, for supporting me and @sanjuanislandseasalt always being so kind and supportive. It never goes unnoticed! We honestly have almost 100% positivity from people that follow us and that just feels really really good.
Ok enough sap 😂. I’ll be flipping this sweet Millie space into an incredible Flower shop Friday night so stay tuned for all of those adventures!!
🌸
Moody tones for this arbor at @westcottbayshellfishfarm. I have a copper beech tree in my yard that is my secret weapon for bigger installations. So thankful to have been able to do so many amazing weddings this past summer! One more to go. 🍂
That is a lot of salt and one salty dog. @sanjuanislandseasalt just killin it these days. 😍
This little video was taken in April 2020 when we all basically thought the world was ending and we clung to any bit of hope or good vibe we could 😂. Erin @floretflower sent me a box of 200 dahlia tubers that we planted and are still enjoying today. I just got to watch #growingfloret on the @magnolianetwork and this video appeared at the end of Sawyer and I receiving our dahlias. I was so excited to see it! 😂 But also realizing how that little gesture just gave me a lot of hope and something to look forward to for the season ahead. So thanks Erin and team floret! You guys shared more than just dahlias with us. 🧡🧡🧡 And your new show is 🔥.
Bradys old man shuffle is killllling me. I think he legs fell asleep crouching down to refill water in all the centerpieces. 😂😂😂 He was the BEST helper this past weekend. Always knows exactly what to do. 🧡🧡🧡
Hi! Pole barn still doesn’t have concrete, so i am flowering out of my house. 😅😂 it’s quite comical. I hope no one shows up unannounced because wow it is a mess.
Reminder about salt week too! Code SALTWEEK at checkout gets you 20% off all the things on my website AND @sanjuanislandseasalt through weds!
Happy cookie Friday!
