“Beat the ban!” 🔥 🚫
We’ve heard lots of clients mention that they were looking for alternatives for open flamed table and garden lightning. Summers on SJI can bring on burn-bans and many venues don’t allow candles. We thought we’d try out these chic battery operated lanterns to help solve some problems! Awesome on cocktail tables or lightning a garden path. Shindigs is exited to share some new things in 2023 that we hope add to your fabulous celebrations.
•First up, our new coupe glass. Perfect for a champagne tower pour or fanciful libations curated by our amazing island mixologists.

…and just like that …we’re back! We have quite the number of bookings already cookin’ for 2023. We can’t stress enough the importance of getting your placeholders and deposits in!! It’s great to start with items that you love and are certain about! Later, you can continue to build your order as your event takes shape. Visit our website to start your wishlist and we will reach out as soon as we can 🙂
Helpful tips for us ❤️
• Let us know other vendors you might be working with. If your event is at a private residence, give us the details 🙂
• We rent glassware by the rack and will adjust your requests accordingly.
• It is often easier to add items later on (especially tableware).
• We service the outer-islands and the mainland of Washington.
• Let us know if you’re looking for something special that we don’t offer. We are always interested in expanding our inventory.

Audrey @ Kevin were such a dream-couple to work with!! We were stoked to bring in some new inventory pieces hand-selected by A&K! Know what keeps this event community so tight? Collaboration!! We love getting together with fellow vendors to showcase new recipes, ideas & designs. Elspeth Bellhart’s () florals always take our breath away. Next is chef Natalia Lawrence Swan () showcasing mouth-watering pizzas thanks to ‘s beautiful garden-space and pizza-oven. All captured by the immensely talented Kim Bamberg () the maven of this island in our opinion.

We’ve been working a LOT the last few months on fabricating some custom pieces to rent this summer:) The first was finishing this live-edge bar with the beautiful San Juan Islands engraved in the middle 😍! Use this cutie as a party hang! Or snuggle it up next to our horse trailer for extra bar service. We are so holy with how it turned out!!!

☀️ Beautiful sunny afternoon setting up this picnic for 31 international writers for ’s retreat this past week. Aside from our wedding rentals, we are excited to offer more picnics and private parties in the . Whether it’s your rehearsal dinner, or a small gathering with friends, our picnic packages include: dinnerware, glassware, decor, set up and strike.

We also loved seeing our friend add gorgeous florals to the event and who kept everyone filled with delicious food!
