Through the many years, the plant went through several changes. It was once home to the Northern Pump Company, which manufactured pumps from 1929 to 1941.

We are hiring Part-time Wedding and Event Staff for our busy season.
Main duties will be:
*Supervising facility during events, ensuring our clients get the best service and experience from our staff and facility.
*Strive to create a welcoming and helpful atmosphere for all clients, vendors, and guests.
*Ensure service is fast, courteous, and professional. The majority of hours worked will be Friday -Saturday. Morning and Evening shifts are available.
*This does include emptying the trash, clearing tables, and doing anything else to ensure our clients receive the best experience possible!
Event and/or Restaurant experience would be a plus for applicants, but not a must.
While performing the duties of this position, the team member will regularly be required to *Work days, nights, and/or weekends as required.
*Work in a noisy, fast-paced environment.
*Move about the facility and stand for long periods of time.
*Read and write handwritten notes.
*Lift and carry 30-50 pounds.
*Must be on-time and reliable.

You could say Forgotten Star Brewing Company in Fridley went from battleships to beer. The Twin Cities taproom is located in a building that helped us win World War II. "Over 10,000 Minnesotans worked here at a time in its heyday," said Andy Risvold, co-owner of Forgotten Star Brewing Co.

What a great wedding season so far! We are so thankful to all of our couples for being so great, so understanding, and so accommodating. We've been working our butts off to make every wedding go as perfectly as possible with hardly any staff and a lot of long hours.
Seeing the true love and happiness in couple's faces like Lindsey and Tim's make all the long hours worth it though! We're looking forward to a busy rest of the season with a bunch of great couples!
