We will be closed Thursday February 23rd for any deliveries or pickups. Sales staff will be available to answer your phone calls as long as they can make it to the office.

The storm is expected to come in two waves over the next few days, with the second wave bringing the heaviest snow along with the potential for blizzard-like conditions.

Sales Rep for Broadway Tent & Event

Job description
We are a party rental in the NW Metro. We take our parties seriously. Here's what you'll be doing:
* Learn our equipment so you can help connect people's party needs with what we have and rent it to them.
* Be the approachable professional. Be able to make suggestions.
* Take phone, internet, and walk in orders for party rental equipment. When people come in to pick up their equipment, process payments, explain the rental contracts, cross the t's, dot the i's.
* Interact with customers in such a way they can't wait to rent from us again.
* Do the behind the scenes work to make sure orders get delivered or ready for pickup.
* Do the behind the scenes stuff to help our business run efficiently
* Help maintain our showroom
* Water the plants once per week. (If you don't do it, they will die.)
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
• Able to learn and use our rental software
• Periodically update and review company website for accuracy and messaging
* Able to learn sound equipment, concession equipment, etc.
OTHER TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Cleans showroom floor and equipment. Arrange showroom displays. Keep shelves organized, stocked and clean
• Suggest improvements
• Follow the rules
• Learn more about the event industry
• Perform other duties as requested
WORKING CONDITIONS
• The job requires constant interaction with the public- mostly on the phone, but on Thursdays and Fridays in June there are BILLIONS of people in our office. That's a little exaggerated.
• Most work will be indoors with limited exposure to outside elements
• Some Night / Weekend work required (not very common- In fact, it's pretty rare)
EDUCATION, SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
• A high school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred but not required
• Have emotional intelligence, be responsible, and adaptable.
• Strong telephone skills
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Rental or event industry experience is like GOLD to us
* Speaking a language other than English is a big bonus (and impresses everyone in the office that only speak English)
