Today I had the honor of performing Edward & Cheryl's wedding ceremony. I was so blessed to be a part of this beautiful wedding. This wedding performed at Goodwill Nursing Home so the groom's Dad could be there was so full of love. Love for each other, love for family (the beautiful brides parents flew all the way from England for the love of their daughter and new son) and most of all love for our almighty God. Such beautiful gestures as the brides Mom brought a simple silver cross and a figure of Mary to place on the altar. There was such love in this simple ceremony. Giggles and happy tears and sparkles in their eyes. God's hands were certainly at work today!! Congratulations Edward & Cheryl!!!

Wedding Wednesday - I love this prayer!! This would be so cute to work into a ring ceremony. Could be read just after the groom replaces the brides engagement ring over her wedding ring. The engagement ring is meant to remind you of the love that brought you to getting married to protect and keep your love young and fresh.
