As we start this post, I want to begin by thanking every bride, every family, and every person who has ever had an event at our venue. We are very thankful for you, and we hope that you experienced the love of Jesus as you came to our venue.

In life, seasons change, which leads us to an exciting announcement for our venue.

We have made the bitter sweet decision to not book anymore weddings or other events at our venue, as we will use our venue to pursue full time ministry in 2025.

For our brides that are already booked for the rest of 2024, we commit to providing the best experience that we can possibly provide for your event. Nothing has changed at all for you.

We feel like God is calling us to use our venue in a way to better serve our community. As we develop our new plan for what this looks like, we will share those details, and ask that you pray for us in this transition.

It's bitter sweet because we love and cherish the brides, grooms, families, and opportunities that we've had the privilege to work with. At the same time, we are excited about the future that God has in store for us.

Please pray for us to hear God clearly, and pray that He'll use us to better our community.

A little sneak peak into what we're planning - - - - To seek out 11-18 year old boys/young men who have no father figure - teach them scripture - teach them life skills - give them the opportunity for fun outdoor things like fishing, kayaking, etc. - help them find jobs - help them pursue college or trade careers.

Statistically, these young men have a lot to overcome, due to the lack of fathering. We want to give these young men a chance to become better men, husbands, and fathers as they reach adulthood.

It will be a tough transition, as we develop something new....and as we try to raise money to accomplish this.

HE IS RISEN!
THE TRUE JESUS TIMELINE… post #7

Night 3 has passed, the tomb is empty, and HE IS RISEN!

The greatest three words we could ever say - HE IS RISEN!!

3 days/3 nights have passed....I can't imagine the emotions that His followers have felt. Has the Hope outweighed the doubts and fears?

Now, today, Mary comes to the tomb, and it is empty. She gets Peter and John, and when they see the empty tomb, they finally understand what Jesus had meant when He said He would rise from the tomb (John 20:9).

Mary encounters the Risen Jesus, but she doesn't recognize Him because of the tears she's still shedding.

Then, He said her name - "Mary" - just like He'd said her name when He first cast the demons out of her (Luke 8:2). Mary had been one of the most faithful - she had risk it all to be one of the ones that watched Him hang on the cross - and now, she was being rewarded as He appeared to her before the disciples.

The disciples know the tomb is empty...I have no doubt they believe the testimony of Mary when she said "I have seen the Lord!"...but they still will not see Jesus in the flesh for a few more hours (John 20:19).

He has risen, and now the disciples wait in anticipation to see Him again.

You and I know He has risen - may we spend today and every other day from this day forward with the same anticipation to see Him again!

He is Risen - yes! We will see Him again - yes!! Just like the disciples knew Mary wasn't being dishonest to them - I KNOW this is true too!!!!

Just like the disciples waited that day with anticipation to see the Risen Jesus, I will wait each day with anticipation and hope to see our Messiah - Jesus - Yeshua!!!! I can't wait till that day - that moment - when I see the Risen Jesus!!!!!!!

THE TRUE JESUS TIMELINE… post #6

Last night was night 2 in the tomb for Jesus. (If that's confusing, please see previous posts). Maybe....there is a glimmer of hope for His followers - He promised He would raise up from the tomb on the 3rd day! But, put yourself in their shoes. They are waiting and probably hiding - their leader has been killed, brutally beaten and murdered, and now they wait, not knowing if they will be beaten and murdered too. Today is still a dark day for them........

Now, that we understand timing a little better, I want to address our traditions. Why do we call it Easter? Why do we have an Easter Bunny? Why do we have Easter eggs?

If you've been around me for any length of time, you may already know this data...but it's worth retelling.

Easter, stems from the fertility goddess Eostre..... Other names of this s*x goddess stem all the way back to the biblical false goddess called Ashtoreth

Rabbits - If anyone has ever had rabbits, you know they breed like crazy - they represent fertility....the rabbit is the symbol to represent Eostre...

Eggs - the 'myth' is that to entertain children, Eostre turned a bird into a rabbit, but the rabbit could still lay eggs like a bird.

It gets worse.....Eostre was worshiped with s*x parties (or**es).

So, why do Christians celebrate Easter, with an Easter Bunny, hunting Easter eggs? In the 6th century, Pope Gregory decided it would be easier for missionaries to integrate Christian traditions into Pagan traditions to try and win over the Pagans. It would be too shocking to ask the Pagans to change their ways - so we'll just integrate with them...and then the traditions stuck....to this day 1500 years later....every year, Christians in the western world (Europe....America) are led to believe that Easter...the bunny...and the eggs all represent Jesus and His eternal life. Actually, they represent a s*x goddess of fertility, an animal that is the most fertile animal on the planet, and eggs that would have come from a magic trick.

The Early Christians celebrated Passover, not Easter.

Now, you may understand why I don't say "happy easter"....now, you may understand why we choose as a family and church to celebrate the true timeline of Jesus's death, burial, and resurrection and Passover instead of a mixed 'Christian/Pagan' holiday.

This may really rock some people that have never heard this.....but you still won't feel as bad as Jesus's followers felt roughly 2,000 years ago after night 2!

God's word says not to put another god before Him....it does not say integrate Me with a false god.

We have a nation that is riddled and burdened with out of control s*xaul sin...and no wonder when the church has been so easily fooled.

We have churches openly embracing s*xual sin.....and no wonder after years and years of mixing in a s*x goddess with Jesus.

I realize this is a tough message, but Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and many other well known prophets warned God's people not to mix false gods with the True Living God. And that's my goal. No, I'm not Isaiah, Jeremiah, or Ezekiel, but I am not scared of what man thinks - I fear God only!

Tomorrow - we celebrate the RISEN KING!

THE TRUE JESUS TIMELINE… post #5

Today….Jesus’s body is in the tomb….it’s a dark day for the disciples…for His followers…He has told them that he’d be in the tomb for 3 days and 3 nights, but I can’t imagine how long that must have felt for His followers. I can’t imagine the depression….the pain…the doubt....

In case you missed a few posts....The Jewish people (Jesus and His disciples were Jewish!) have a Seder dinner after sunset at the beginning of Passover (which was Monday night). Jesus was betrayed by Judas after that Seder dinner….Jesus was arrested in the middle of the night (first night of Passover). Crucified the next day…

On the true timeline, last night was night 1 in the tomb.

You might be wondering....why are we almost 1 month off this year from when the American church celebrates the Resurrection???

The Biblical (God’s calendar) is 360 days - where as ours is 365 days. Then, we throw in an extra day every 4 years (leap year)…the Biblical calendar throws in an extra month. That’s why ”Easter” moves around in March to April each year.

The point is not to point out how wrong things are in our calendar - the point is to grow closer to our Savior by understanding His culture - His timeline in a more complete way.

I’m not Jewish - I’m a gentile - but I want to know more about my Jewish Savior! I want to love Him more each day! One way to love Him is to celebrate Passover like He did!!!

THE TRUE JESUS TIMELINE…post #4

TODAY would be the day that Jesus died….

Jesus had His “last supper” with His disciples last night. Jesus was betrayed, arrested, beaten, whipped - and today, He hangs on the cross.

It’s a bad day for the followers of Jesus, back nearly 2,000 years ago.

We know the full story - they didn’t.

Today is the day that Jesus took on all of my sins AND your sins! A horrible death!

We know that Jesus’s body was in the tomb for 3 days and 3 nights, as opposed to the westernized celebration of Good Friday to “Easter Sunday” (which is two nights…Friday night…Saturday night…2 nights, not 3..)

Isaiah predicted He would be beaten to the point of being unrecognizable- that He would take on the whipping (the stripes) for our healing!

Today is the day we should celebrate the death of Jesus (Yeshua). Please take time today, and THANK HIM!

Today at sunset begins Passover. Tonight is the night that Jesus and the disciples would have had “the Last Supper”, where we get communion.

Passover was and is a very special and beloved holiday for God’s people. It is a time to celebrate that the death angel passed over the Hebrew people’s homes (covered by the blood of the lamb) when the death angel came to Egypt for Egypt’s punishment. This led to Pharaoh’s realease of God’s people, and they were delivered out of slavery into freedom.

On Passover, Jesus became that sacrificial Lamb for each of us that believes in Him. This time of Passover is a time to celebrate what God did for the Hebrew people when He delivered them from Egypt, AND it’s a time to celebrate what Jesus did for us so that we can have eternal life with our Father!!!

As Jesus had a Seder dinner with His disciples, they walk through the Passover event of the past (symbolically), with order and specific foods eaten. This was when Jesus declared that He would be the sacrifice for sins, and like I stated, where we get communion from.

Today, tonight, this week - let’s celebrate the death of Jesus as the Passover Lamb - body broken for you AND His blood shed for you. By His stripes were are healed!!! By His blood, our sins are forgiven!!!

Praise to the Lamb of God - Jesus!!!

THE TRUE JESUS TIMELINE…post #2

After Jesus road into Jerusalem (yesterday), He went to the temple and started flipping tables because they were doing business in His Father’s House.

Then, He healed the blind and the lame - as even children recognized He was the Son of God!

Today, Jesus returned to the temple to teach. As He taught, the religious leaders questioned His authority….

He taught several powerful parables that we teach today. You can read all this in Matthew 21-25. All of that pretty much transpired on this day in history, almost 2,000 years ago.

Today, I say the same words that would have echoed through the streets of Jerusalem yesterday….Hosianna!!!!! (In Hebrew, means Please Lord save us!)

What if I told you that today is the day we should be celebrating Palm Sunday?

Last year, I did my best to line up the true days of Jesus with our calendar…and they were a few days off (which is normal due to the difference between the biblical calendar and our Gregorian calendar). This year, our calendars were many weeks off…..

Today would be the day that Jesus road on a donkey into Jerusalem. Two significant things…

1. Riding on the donkey signified a King was entering the city. Solomon did the same thing many years before Jesus - therefore, the people would have recognized that he was declaring Himself the King!

2. On this day, the Jewish people would select the perfect, unblemished lamb - to be sacrificed for Passover. Jesus entered Jerusalem to be the PERFECT, UNBLEMISHED Passover Lamb.

So, today commemorates the day in history that Jesus came into the city, declaring Himself King AND the ultimate sacrificial Passover Lamb!!!

Celebrate today that Jesus is King! Celebrate today that Jesus is the ultimate sacrifice for our sins!!!

I want to encourage all Jesus believers today! Stand strong in your faith! Don’t let the problems of the world weigh you down!

We are watching a lot of “end times” prophecy come together. We don’t know timeframes or how long it takes to unfold. Could be today…could be couple of 100 years….

Jesus talks about all the signs near the end - we are seeing them all.

Paul warns about a great falling away of the church. We are seeing that with individuals, families, and ministries…

Biblical wars are on the verge of breaking out in Israel.

BUT….Jesus and Paul tell us that THOSE WHO ENDURE TILL THE END WILL BE SAVED!

Endure!!!! Persevere!!!! We have a great reward headed our way!!!

Come Lord Jesus come!!!!

Scripture says “there is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends” (John 15:13). I think of this often when I think about the officers who are willing each day to put themselves in harms way - to keep us safe. Thank you Mr. McCowan for your love to us. Thank you to all law enforcement for your love for us. Praying for everyone this tragedy affects. 😭

Christmas....merry Christmas....my hope today is that everyone who reads this has an amazing day that we set aside as the remembrance of the birth of Jesus Christ (Yeshua Hamashiach). He gave up His place in heaven with the Father to come to Earth as the most humble of men - He endured every temptation that you and I can imagine - and He took on a penalty for YOU and me - not because He had to, but because He LOVES US SO MUCH! He was beaten, bruised, pierced, and shed His blood while suffocating to death - why? Because it took that radical of a sacrifice for my sins...and for yours. So, today, please don't get so wrapped up in presents (no pun intended...), that we forget about the MAN THAT CAME TO GIVE US SALVATION! In Him, we find Hope, Joy, and Peace as part of the gift He gives us! Don't just say "He's the reason for the season" - Live your life like He's coming back today, and honor the Man that gave it all for you! Also, I don't want to forget those that are serving our community, our states, and our country - those who can't be home with their loved ones right now. Firefighters, Police, Soldiers - THANK YOU for serving us, and sacrificing for us! May you have the hope, joy, and peace of our Savior wherever you are!!

Who wants to DO what Jesus did? Don’t we often say that? “I want to do what Jesus did!”

Well, one thing He did was celebrate Hanukkah. John 10:22

Please don’t look at this as a “Jewish” thing that Gentiles shouldn’t do. It’s a Jesus thing that we all can do!!!!

Tonight at sunset, Hanukkah begins. For us, this is a prophetic celebration to celebrate the miraculous 2nd coming of Jesus!!!!

We will be celebrating Hanukkah tonight at 6:30pm and again on Sunday at 10:30am (meal following).

Today is “giving Tuesday”. I’d like to ask that you prayerfully consider giving to our ministry today!

Our ministry covers several areas. We are a local church family on Sundays, but we work with many in the community outside of our church to try and teach them how to allow Jesus to fix many of life’s problems (marriages, addictions, rejection, etc.).

In 2024, we will expanding our ministry to help disciple young men (ages 11-18), who don’t have a father present in their lives. We will pour into them from a biblical Jesus perspective, and we will teach them life skills that dads are not doing (how to change a tire, how to go on a job interview, etc). Our goal is to help these young men develop the character to be successful in the world today!
