In the past we had accepted very few BABY SHOWERS, only when coming as referrals of our amazing corporate clients, that’s why we never promoted or shared this kind of events in social media! However, lately per repetitive requests, we had been designing many more of those pushing the creation of a brand new line of business… pre-designed themes!!!

Very soon we will launch a full catalog including TEA-PARTY designs for baby-showers & co-workers gatherings at the office and beyond!!!

Until that project is completely finished & launched here it a FAV-cute event we designed decor & catered on May 2023! Brunch menu included kosher & vegan options, and a mimosa bar. The combination of fresh flowers with silk-real touch ones & classy decor elements brought the theme to life in every corner of this beautiful residence! That time the future grandma made herself the cutest diapers’cake & please admire their stunning wall art that we tried to somehow match with the arrangements & colorful food choices. When you hire us we will try to care & pay attention to every single little detail!

Combining FAKE w/FRESH flowers💐is our expertise! Can you tell which of these are silk/faux (to meet smart budgets )or which are real (for fragrance & elegance)? This approach of “mixing” them has helped us over the years to be able to ensure our events bring the WOW factor but re-using & re-cycling many of the key elements! We INVEST in “high-end & real-touch” decor that we get to use over&over again! It’s a brilliant way to stretch every budget we are trusted with! And as we are planning Kick-Off 2024-2025 here what we did last year! A rustic/modern design w/white flowers, wood & greenery🪴! For 🎓graduation this student organization “travels the world🌎” with fun themes (We have done Paris & New York City) but for the start of a new school year we like to keep it classy & elegant as they commit to a full year of learning, hard work and involvement in the community. With top-notch guest speakers and an attendance of +200 people we absolutely LOVE to be a part of these events YES is on a mission!!! THANK YOU Ivy Sun and YES-Youth Entrepreneur Society for this partnership! So excited for August’s meeting & getting to be back to the BEAUTIFUL Verona Villa!!!

Here updating👇🏼 our Paris Themes for a Sweet XVI🎀 & 🗝️A brunch hosted at a gorgeous French Chateau design/residence planned for an incredible realtor’s open house! As our company is expanding with “✈️cities around the world experiences 🌎” we are now completing in social media our “Parisian album” with these two other events fully customized for two of our wonderful clients who kindly conspired with us to ensure all details were carefully crafted providing an unforgettable experience to every guest!

1) Sweet XVI 🎀 We worked w/client & fantastic vendors to customize room decor, centerpieces, dessert table, Photo Booth, Favors & Guest book tables, lounge area & main entrance, making sure every corner of that large party space (Jam Box Fitness Frisco) had a glamorous touch adding pearls, crystals, & delicate flowers that matched the exact shade of pink on the dress of this beautiful bday girl
2) Real Estate 🏡 A delicate menu, French Chardonnay Wine 🍷 & Cafe Bistro music welcomed VIPs as this stunning property was going to be listed for sale! 🪧

Although we serve all kind of industries & once in a while we accept personal events what makes Joy In The Breakroom different from other party planners, flourists, restaurants, designers etc is that for us IT’S ALL ABOUT PEOPLE… The food & decor are just “elements” utilized for our clients to make special memories, accomplish intentional goals & capture some smiles! Our pre-designs themes are a practical way to stretch every budget ensuring that high-end approaches would be our staple!

And for graduation🎓these remarkable students “traveled to Paris”😉 On June 2023 we had the JOY of catering & designing decor, French bistro centerpieces & photo both w/faux desserts for YES-Youth Entrepreneur Society at one of the most beautiful & classy venues in Frisco, Verona Villa! Do you know that during those events, these outstanding high schoolers pitch their biz ideas to a panel of community leaders & successful entrepreneurs? Shark-tank right here in town! Events’ agendas & their plans and involvement for the whole school year is pretty phenomenal and we absolutely LOVEto be a part of this year after year! The y truly are the sweetest families to work with?

Although we are really behind sharing pictures in social media, we are beyond grateful for the different opportunities we had received in the workplace & wonderful people we partner with to bring some magic with Eiffel towers & this Parisian experience to all kind of organizations, parties & beautiful venues!

As we are currently planning more “Lunch & Learn”designs, we found ourselves with opportunity of sharing one of our favorite ones planned for a law office with this stunning bank as venue, even when we did not get to share these pictures on social media earlier… don’t you agree that the way the two elegant logos & colors combined with this nice food presentation made it all together… a beautiful spread!!! Had we mentioned how much we LOVE what we do? So you know… a budget of $20 to $25 p/person (full service & food included) is a good/popular/average budget that let us plan something great at your workplace!

Let me please introduce to you my Summer intern… my daughter! She will be back soon to college to the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, but these last weeks, she has worked with me for all summer events & was an incredible help in a HUGE biz inventory & themed decor/fully designed rental project I had been creating! As I sort pictures of those events I could not help but get emotional thinking about my dad! I never got to work with him. I chose not! I was too busy figuring out my own path. I loved my marketing, my graphic design, my office & being behind a computer. Then we moved to Michigan raising our little family. I ALWAYS admired deeply his art & passion in the hospitality industry but never thought it was for me! I don’t regret a bit any of those years or choices since what I learned in the workplace away from his hotels & restaurants in Mexico shaped me into the professional & person I am today. However, to see my brilliant daughter “in action” this Summer made me visualize my daddy smiling, maybe even laughing 🤣 in heaven….LOOK AT US DADDY👀😂🥰😍
I was so blessed to have a father like him, who always let me be MYSELF & gave me the freedom to figure out life knowing his unconditional love and support would never depend on my performance toward his expectations. He would never miss a chance to seed something valuable in us but he taught me too what UNCONDITIONAL meant… Like any younger generation, there were times I would roll my eyes & think he was too old-fashioned and he would not understand, I knew better, right?🫢 but now I know…he got me better than anyone, my joys were truly his! My dad would treat every one with such respect, he could see what others could not, & he would naturally transform any place or situation into something more special & beautiful! He was, is & will always be a rock & an inspiration!

I am 💯 certain, Sarai will do her OWN thing… just like I DID… but it’s impossible to deny it… he left a legacy & at least a bit of his values, goodness, endurance & talents are in our blood & my prayer is that we would never let life to erase our SMILES just like he never did! LOVE YOU FOREVER DAD😇

👇🏼🤗 This week while combining the design of closing gifts for one of the Realty Groups in Cali & Texas we are honored to serve, we are SUPER excited to customize our NYC design to the upcoming 2024 graduation of one of our TOP favorite non-profits/organizations Youth Entrepreneur Society & outstanding local leaders Ivy Sun with team that we’ve had the JOY to support & partner with for 3 consecutive years! This coming weekend a GORGEOUS event space Apricus Venue will welcome these brilliant students & amazing parents 🍎Big Apple Style🌆& we are thrilled finalizing the planning of every detail!

We had the JOY of transforming an space to Broadway Avenue in NYC. Our design included delicious Nothing Bundt Cakes & beautiful Posh Pretzels of Frisco. This dessert table was a sweet finale to Frisco Arts Red Carpet concert at Lincoln Center/The Star. 100 guests enjoyed world-class music by soprano Carelle Flores, violinist Gary Levinson on a $8M +Stradivarius, pianist Paul Poznak performing on a Steinway Spirio, surrouded by the art of Barbara Mason. When I was 19 years old & a college intern, the company I was working at sent a bouquet of flowers to my mom on Mothers Day! She called me crying really touched by the thoughtful note the CEO included. To HONOR the working moms, the moms of the single employees or the wives of the engineers was a part of their culture. One of the MANY meaningful traditions I got to experience during the 10 years I was blessed to work there. Leaders around me had a profound influence in WHO I AM and WHAT I DO today. Little actions can make such a difference & will for sure impact others in ways we may never know! So THANKFUL for Pat MacGrath & truly remarkable bosses! ⏭️FAST FORWARD➡️ I will not stop to CREATE tools that can help leaders to bring teams together in an uplifting way! What a JOY was this morning to start Internacional Women Day w/my biz VERY 1st CLIENT, the very 1st total stranger & leader who trusted me 7 years ago to do an ice cream bar for her team… all these years later I am humbly thrilled to say she became one of my forever BEST FRIENDS👯‍♀️Am I extra blessed or what? Along these years her light has shine so bright in my life IN EVERY POSSIBLE AREA, she is a mentor, a role model, a prayer warrior, an example, an inspiration, a sister, a loyal friend! My lil’ company may had not survived the pandemic’s tough times without her business & creative requests but seriously beyond that… I don’t know what I could had done without a girl like her, the way she cares, her laughter, her family, her wisdom, her character, HER FAITH, our random texts or long talks. She is a top reason WHY I love my little company Joy In The Breakroom, It’s about the AMAZING people it has brought into my life. Business & personal are so mixed-up around here lol😂 & I would not want it any other way!

On International Women Day 🌷we share here the gifts we got to design for the guest speakers of PepsiCo’s Headquarters’ Event: “Discussing Women Inclusion” as top female leaders in all different departments were recognized for leading a positive change for women in PepsiCo. “Great Leaders TRULY Inspire greatness in others” & it was such a JOY to plan these “Cozy Moments for Ourselves” themed tote bags. We found out later that 2 of these gifts were door prizes for their Mental Health & Wellness rally which are topics so close to my heart! I deeply admire these kind initiatives in the workplace & feel thrilled by the opportunities recently given to our biz by this corporation! The testimonials & extra kind comments received by the different project’s main contacts had blown my mind away… What an HONOR to serve them & realize we speak the “same language” & big or small we go after the same goals, 100% focused on what matters most!
