Everyone around the world are wondering about Badshah US tour abrupt cancellations in multiple cities, and there are multiple stories going around the media.
I would like to clear the blues and expose the truth of some so-called "promoters".
We at Full House Media work extremely hard to bring top-notch quality experience to all our shows and similarly worked hours together on production planning with TM Talent Management on Badshah US tour production. Initially 8 city-tour was planned across US & Canada with Arif Khan being the National Promoter and Full House Media, working with him and local promoters, as Production Company for all these shows.
We were all excited for witnessing Badshah, but before the tour even began, 4 cities were cancelled without any concrete reason.
First couple of shows happened in DC and Houston where we provided exceptional quality shows.
For Houston show production, both Nouman Khalid and Arif Khan wired the money, only to find out shocking news from the bank today, that this as a fraudulent transaction and they put a hold on it.
Based on the relation with Mohammad Abbas, we set up the entire show not to impact the show timings, while we patiently waited for the payment.
Even after we let the show start, there is no trace of any money coming.
As per Local Dallas Promotor official statement, all the payments were made to Arif Khan. While local promoter Mohammad Abbas and National Promoter Arif Khan were finger pointing each other for making the payment, we haven't received agreed amount for the show.
With no other option left, we had to abruptly stop the show, despite of working hard for days together on this huge setup.
The very next day show planned in New Jersey. We sent the truck load worth of equipment, waited for hours to clear the payment before unloading.
Same story again, no payment received.
Being a National Promoter, Arif Khan has no clue on how show is executed. To our surprise, he cancelled the show on the same day, though 3000+ tickets were sold and equipment trucks waiting at the door.
He says, let's return the service as if it's a product from Amazon.
AV Production doesn't work like that.
We have to pay for labor and secure other vendors, paying them upfront. If shows are abruptly stopped or cancelled on same day, we still have to bear the equipment, labor and transport charges.
We are going to file legal and fraud charges on all the respective people to collect the money. It's very unfortunate to end up in this situation despite of working hard on planning and executing such shows with huge production values and with a commitment to provide ultimate musical experience.
A BIG LESSON to all production companies and artists who deal with these kind of unprofessional and unethical promoters
