Yesterday, was the Celebration of Life for one of our grooms, Chris. Many of you may know his brother, Cameron .tx Chris lost his battle with cancer a couple of weeks ago -but not before going into remission, marrying the love of his life , and then leaving a legacy on this earth through their son Caleb. As a Planner, I meet a lot of grooms- on rehearsal day-because they aren’t a part of the planning BUT not this guy. He was there 100% of the time. Madison was always so anxious but Chris always had a way of calming her. I will never forget on their wedding day , I asked him “Chris how are you doing?” He said “Is Madison here?” I said “Yes”. He then said “ Then I’m the happiest man alive right now. A’Sheka I will marry Madison today and that’s all that matters.” I never got a chance to tell him this but I actually tell all my grooms this story because it reminds me of pure and genuine love and the real purpose of weddings”. I have had the chance to read all the comments on his obituary- and they all say the same -he was a great person with a wonderful spirit.
May his wonderful spirit live through Caleb and God comforts Madison as she lives the life they planned without the amazing man she planned it with.
Btw: I am kicking myself so hard because I thought the Celebration of Life was today-not yesterday. I would’ve never missed it! Rest well Chris. 🕊️💙

This photo reminds me that life is meant to be FUN and we are meant to live it!

I briefly spoke about this on my story but here goes. This week I made a GREAT plan for posting and ensuring that I stayed on my social media and business schedule but none of it happened. Literally, all beyond my control!

I was supposed to post some reels and show never seen photos from Bella’s Sweet 16 BUT I didn’t have the system’s download pin and I STILL haven’t gotten it. Maybe they are on vacation ? Lol. I’ll try again next week. 🤷🏽‍♀️

My editor for my Wedding Bells and WTH couldn’t edit my video. I spent a lot of time trying to edit myself. By this time, the day is over! So now, I’m off track for my segment and looking for other options. 🤦🏽‍♀️

I can’t for the life of me find my One Belief t-shirt. Did it take legs and walk??!

Whyyyyyyy! I was prepared. I did things right! But it didn’t go right. This week, unprovoked, I was told that I need to lean into my challenges and push myself to WIN them! So I won’t stress myself but I will press myself! I will also remind myself to just let loose and have fun while doing it!

We have received notifications that we have had a large number of “Viewers” on our page! Well, we certainly welcome you. We would love to hear from you (Facebook doesn’t tell us who the viewers are). We would love to chat, get to know you and hopefully see how we can work together.

I often see brides online asking for vendor referrals and listing out their long lists of hopes and dreams for their vendors. Truthfully, I am often saddened by these posts because investing in a Wedding Planner would make the vendor vetting and hiring process much smoother and reliable.

Well, at the latest Chic Network VIP Members networking event we talked about leveraging business relationships, strategies in doing so and ensuring that we are providing the best vendors for our clients.

I have been a little absent with posting because I’ve been working behind the scenes on something that I’m so ecstatic about! As you all know, last week I had my Virtual Party that came with announcement! Well, here’s the Announcement!

For those of you that have followed Beyond Posh , know that I’ve done my Tip Tuesdays for years. I’ve met so many people and clients who say “ I just loooove your videos”, “You’re the lady that does the tips” or “Your personality sold me!”
So this year, my YES Year, I decided to Elevate Tip Tuesday’s to its own virtual segment. Every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month a new segment will premiere on Tik Tok and Instagram with clips on Facebook!

Someone said “there’s a lot of people doing similar content. “. One thing about it, my God given gift is my voice, My words. That’s one thing I’ll never come up short on. So when God allows you to use your gifts for positive it doesn’t matter if a million people are doing the same thing. So trust me, my Voice will be heard.

Wedding Bells and What The Hell is also a name I’ve had for years but never felt confident enough to use such a risky title. So again, in my YES Year, here it is.
