Maurice has rapidly established a presence within Hillsborough County and the Florida photography world. With his many satisfied clients, he is quickly becoming the premiere Youth Sports photographer in the Tampa Bay area. Some of his recent clients include University Area Bulls, West Tampa Spartans, and Greenwood Panthers. He also served as the official photographer for the American Basketball Association team Tampa Bay Rain during their inaugural season. Maurice has worked with local Hair Stylists and salons and, some of his photography work, was featured in an Essence magazine special issue, “Essence Hot Hair” Maurice has had the pleasure of providing the photographic artwork for two books: Someone Almost Loved Me to Death and Someone to Love The Little Girl In Me by Yolanda Lee. Maurice truly believes that God allows him to use his talents to bless and be a blessing to everyone. His intent is not to build a client list, but to build relationships. Maurice Gardner’s ultimate desire is to be known simply as “The People’s Photographer”. He is a man who loves God, his family and his country being that he served proudly in the United States Army for 6 years.
