It gives him the ability to capture a moment in time and allow it to live forever. His venture into Photography started as early as the fourth grade where he held a video camera for the first time. His passion grew from videography to photography when he held a Fuji Film camera for the first time. He is a published photographer with over 20 years of experience with 4 years shooting as a profession

al. Maurice welcomes the opportunity to share in the memories of your special day. Whether it be capturing the essence of Maternity, Family Portraits, Your Wedding Day, or recognizing the accomplishment of your High School or College graduate, he is ready and humbled to share in the memories of your occasion. Maurice has rapidly established a presence within Hillsborough County and the Florida photography world. With his many satisfied clients, he is quickly becoming the premiere Youth Sports photographer in the Tampa Bay area. Some of his recent clients include University Area Bulls, West Tampa Spartans, and Greenwood Panthers. He also served as the official photographer for the American Basketball Association team Tampa Bay Rain during their inaugural season. Maurice has worked with local Hair Stylists and salons and, some of his photography work, was featured in an Essence magazine special issue, “Essence Hot Hair” Maurice has had the pleasure of providing the photographic artwork for two books: Someone Almost Loved Me to Death and Someone to Love The Little Girl In Me by Yolanda Lee. Maurice truly believes that God allows him to use his talents to bless and be a blessing to everyone. His intent is not to build a client list, but to build relationships. Maurice Gardner’s ultimate desire is to be known simply as “The People’s Photographer”. He is a man who loves God, his family and his country being that he served proudly in the United States Army for 6 years. One thing is for sure: Maurice realizes that some memories only happen once in a lifetime and knows that the role he plays in capturing those memories is not taken lightly.
