At Hardy Farm we are surrounded by mountains and their numerous renowned downhill and Nordic ski areas. Our area also features wonderful opportunities for snowmobiling, ice skating, and even ice climbing on frozen waterfalls for those seeking even a bit more adventure. Several years ago, one of our international couples from Ireland who was in the states for post graduate work at Harvard and who had selected Hardy Farm for their wedding, also decided to take advantage of our outdoor winter activities for their ceremony. So, with their friends and an adventurous photographer in tow, they skied up to the Harvard Mountaineering Club’s warming hut to exchange their vows! Quite an adventure that ended up back at Hardy Farm that evening for a cozy winter celebration in our heated barn.

As an event venue, we offer a more laid-back atmosphere for a corporate retreat, yet we have amenities for larger parties. We hold events every weekend and can recommend vendors for everything from additional lodging, food and beverage to music and audio-visual equipment.

Weddings and Lodging

The c. 1835 barn is the perfect place to host your inspired wedding reception or event. The space features beautifully white-washed walls and elegant chandeliers. The Maine wedding barn venue is open and modern including heating and air conditioning, and features two dramatic staircases that climb to the wrap-around mezzanine. From there, you can overlook the entire barn. Many couples choose to use the mezzanine to create intimate nooks for quiet conversations, or to add extra bar space or seating areas. The barn wedding venue is naturally lit with expansive windows and the original barn doors, bringing the beauty of the White Mountains indoors for your event.We are a picturesque historic New England destination venue located in the Mt. Washington Valley of North Conway, NH / Fryeburg, ME. Corporate event planners love our property for ease of access from throughout New England, multiple meeting areas, on-site lodging and proximity to a myriad of outdoor recreational activities that can also work well as team building activities.
