My favorite thing to do with a Grand Entrance is to have the wedding party hang out on the dance floor to give the newlyweds a big hug. It creates a fun energy and makes for some great pictures!

My #1 Vow Tip...

Say actual vows! I know this sounds so elementary, but I sometimes see couples who use this time to just share what they love about each other, which is sweet to do. But if you're going to do that, have your Officiant introduce it differently. If you're wanting to actually write your own vows, use that chance to make a promise and commitment to each other.

An additional bonus tip would be to make sure you and your fiancé(e) format your vows the same ways. For example, you can use the phrasing "I promise to...", "I vow to...", "I commit to..."

Aisle Arrangements are a MUST! Often times, couples think they don't have money for these, but if you're already planning on having some miscellaneous arrangements during your reception for items like your sweetheart table, Cake table, bar, etc...it's a no-brainer to use those arrangements for the ceremony first! Makes such a big impact for no added cost.

Some gorgeous details from V+C's wedding last June ✨️ I often have clients come to me and say they don't want to add a lot of florals to this venue because it's already so naturally pretty. They're not wrong...it's a stunning venue! But I've gotta say, I disagree with the idea of going minimal with the floral decor, because it actually ties in better with the lush surroundings when you match it with heavy florals and greenery! I often have brides ask me why I allot so much time for Bridal Portraits in the itinerary. The short answer, because the photographer usually requests at least 45 minutes. The long answer to that is because there's so much more that goes into Bridal Portraits than one realizes. If we break it down, there's different shots that your photographer is going to want (someone zipping or buttoning your dress, someone helping you put your jewelry and shoes on, you doing a few makeup touch-ups, solo shots once you're in your dress). But on top of that, they may need multiple different angles or may want to try different things depending on their surroundings. Staging often takes more time than getting the shot itself! And if I'm able to, I usually allot even more time than the minimum because I'd rather have buffer time and be ahead of schedule than be running late. So make sure you have your photographer for enough hours in the day. Otherwise, everything will feel rushed and you may not get all the pictures you're wanting 😉Venue:

I always tell the wedding party this at the rehearsal, but I'll say it for those are aren't my clients...If you're in a wedding, take as many pictures as you want when getting ready, but please make sure you don't post any pictures until after the ceremony! We want to keep the element of surprise for our lovely couple on their big day 🤍

▪︎ BUDGET TIP ▪︎If you're looking for a way to shave some costs on florals, a great spot is with bridesmaid bouquets. Spend a little more on the bridal bouquet, but feel free to go smaller in size and use less expensive florals for the bridesmaids since theirs won't be in as many pictures. May not save a whole bunch, but every little bit helps, and they still look absolutely beautiful!
