This annual exhibition features the work of 100 talented high school students from La Habra, Fullerton, Troy, Sunny Hills, Sonora, Buena Park, La Visa, and La Sierra. The collection is judged by their own art teachers and is comprised of a variety of mediums: painting, photography, sculpture, ceramics, etc. Who will be the next Pablo Picasso or Florence Arnold?

Perfect for experienced or beginner oil painters, this workshop will cover the basics of painting outdoors, including creating depth, simplifying light and shadow, and understanding essential materials. Learn to accurately capture the beauty of the landscape as you develop foundational plein air painting skills and create a painting on an 8” x 10” canvas.

The first concert of the year at The Muck is coming up!
Invoke (Nick Montopoli, violin/banjo/vocals; Zach Matteson, violin/vocals; Karl Mitze, viola/mandolin/vocals; Geoff Manyin, cello/vocals) successfully dodges even the most valiant attempts at genre classification. The multi-instrumental quartet encompasses traditions from across America, including bluegrass, Appalachian fiddle tunes, jazz, and minimalism.

Exciting update to our annual FREE Holiday Festival: The Mina Choi Orchestra will be kicking things off on our stage at 12pm on Sunday December 22!
Mina Choi, a Korean-born, LA-based jazz pianist, composer, and conductor, has spent years teaching and performing in California. Her music reflects her journey, blending jazz big band, classical music, and the traditions of her Korean heritage. Each composition tells a personal story through beautiful melodies, colorful harmonies, and intricate rhythms. Through her music, Mina hopes to connect with others and spread messages of hope and love.

This Sunday October 27: The Muck Annual Free Dia De Muertos Festival! We will have festive activities for the whole family, live music, local artisans, and arts and crafts for kids. Los invitamos al Muckenthaler Cultural Center para celebrar el Día de los Muertos. Sunday October 27 is the FREE Annual Dia De Muertos celebration at The Muck! Join us from 11am-3pm for free crafts, live music, and food and artisanal vendors.
