It's been a busy day at the Fulton Elks Lodge! We had our annual Breakfast with Santa for those in the special needs community and their families, followed by our Children's Christmas Party. We had a special visit from Santa, Mrs. Claus and an Elf from the North Pole and much help with the breakfast from the Fulton Freshman Basketball team. Thanks to all who helped make this special day possible.

Saturday, 12/14 is a busy day full of Christmas festivities at the lodge. The Children's Christmas party is from 12:30 till 2:30. The adult Christmas party is Saturday also, beginning around 4. Bring a dish to pass and a gift to exchange in our fun Christmas dice game. Sign up at the hall. Hope to see you there!!

Memorial Sunday, when we remember our Elks brothers and sisters who passed in the last year, will be held on Sunday, December 1st at 1 pm. All Elks and family members of those who passed are invited to attend this meaningful ceremony, which will be followed by a light luncheon. To our absent members....

A Holiday Gift Giveaway was held at the Bpoe Fulton NY Elks on Sunday, 11/24, giving 275 children a chance to "shop" for gifts for family and friends at no charge. The event was organized by Tabitha Lynn and Rachel Anderson and sponsored by EV Energy.

There's a lot going on at the Fulton Elks Lodge this week! On Thursday, 11/14, is the annual Christmas Auction starting at 6:03 pm. Get some Christmas shopping done early! Friday, 11/15, Elvis is in the house! Doors open at 5, show starts at 6. Kitchen will be open. C'mon down and enjoy the show! Saturday, 11/16, enjoy a delicious Ribeye Steak dinner, music by Frank & Julie, and honor our Veterans. Serving from 4 till 7 pm. We hope to see you!!

The Bpoe Fulton NY Elks is proud to announce the 2024 Fulton Veteran's Council Veteran of the Year is our own Ray Caprin Jr. We are especially proud that this is the second year in a row a Fulton Elk member has been named Veteran of the Year. Our thanks and congratulations also go out to the 2023 Veteran of the year Dave Ormsby. A ceremony honoring our local Veterans will be held across the street from Fulton City Hall on Monday, 11/11/24 at 11 am.

FULTON — Ray Caprin, who served in the U.S. Navy from 1972 to 1976, is this year’s Fulton Veterans Council Veteran of the Year.

Fulton Elks Members, we are about to enter our busiest time of year! With the holidays and other lodge events approaching, we are looking for volunteers to help make it all happen. Part of what makes being an Elk so rewarding is the ability to help our families and communities. Tis the season to give a little back. Below are a list of upcoming events and help needed.

Memorial Sunday, December 1st. Help setting up light luncheon after ceremony. This is a poignant ceremony, remembering our Elks brothers and sisters who passed during the year. If you've never attended a Memorial Sunday ceremony, please consider joining us for this solemn occasion.

Christmas:
Breakfast with Santa 12/14, 9:30 - 11 am - Servers and kitchen helpers.
Children's Christmas Party 12/14, 12:30 - 2:30 pm - Help planning and preparing the crafts. (sign up children by 12/1 at the lodge)
Adult Christmas Party - 12/14, 5 pm till? No help needed, but come join the fun! Bring a dish to pass and a $10-$15 gift to join in a fun gift exchange game.
Christmas Baskets: Donations welcome, sign up at the Lodge. From 12/21 - 12/24, preparing baskets and wrapping gifts and on 12/24 delivering some of the baskets.
12/24, afternoon, join us for Tom & Jerry's and share some Christmas Spirit!

Fish Dinners: Beginning usually in January and lasting until Easter, our fish dinners have been a tradition for many years now. We need a minimum of two crews, consisting of a cook, kitchen helper and at least 2 other helpers to serve and clean up. The more crews we have, the less work for all! Please let someone at the Lodge know if you have a crew already or are willing to work on someone else's crew.

This is a reminder about the Veterans Parade on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the NYS Fairgrounds. This is a great opportunity for us as ELKS to show our support for our Veterans, thank them and their families for their service. This is a District function. Coffee and donuts will be available. Looking forward to seeing every there.

Meet at the Fairgrounds at 10:00 AM to decorate the float. Our line up position is STAR Division 11. Enter through Gate 6. Our line up time is 11:30 PM.
