Pride of Holly Springs is a 501c3 Organization comprised of Holly Springs community members who seek to:
-Offer opportunities to celebrate and uplift the LGBTQIA+ community.
-Create spaces and provide education toward an inclusive community.

Thanks so much for all the support for the third consecutive* year. It was absolutely amazing seeing each and every one of your beautiful and wonderful and fabulous selves.

Speeches and Strut were amazing. The Social was soooo much fun. From what I hear, the Teen Social is going great currently, and I’m looking forward to impressing everyone with my karaoke tonight.

Final planning meeting with most (not quite all) of your Fuquay-Varina Pride Celebration 2024 Planning Committee.

We are so very excited to see you tomorrow for our third annual Pride Celebration.

We will be live streaming all of our speeches tomorrow.

Reminders for tomorrow:

*Wear sunscreen and clothes that you will be comfortable in for hot weather.
*Bring your reusable water bottle and keep yourself hydrated.
*Dogs are *not* permitted in Council Gym for the speeches, nor may they accompany us on the Strut. That’s a requirement for our event permit.

THIS POST HAS ADDITIONAL INFORMATION BEYOND THAT WHICH WAS COMMUNICATED LAST NIGHT: Mainly, our permit for the Strut does not include pets. Please do not strut with your pets, as this can place our future ability to strut in jeopardy.

Some things to consider if you’re thinking about bringing your dog with you to Fuquay-Varina Pride Celebration 2024

*It will be HOT. Dog paws can burn on asphalt. Consider booties for your dog and try and keep them in the shade.

*again, it will be HOT. Please bring water and a water dish for your dog.

*Dogs can get sunburn too! Shade, shade, shade.

*Dogs are not permitted into Council Gym for the speeches. If your dog wants to hear the speeches, this page will be live streaming them.

*Our permit for the Strut does *not* include pets. It has been made clear to us that pets are not permitted to strut with us. (It’s also going to be super duper hot, so pets would probably prefer to be chauffeured if possible)

*Dogs must be leashed at all times

*Some people are nervous of dogs. Please be very cognizant of this fact, and give people space.
