Emily Graff, Pride 2023
So, on June 15th, we are going to start our day off together with some speeches and then we strut down the sidewalks of Fuquay-together.
One of our speakers from last year will definitely be returning this year.
She’s absolutely worth hearing.
Last year she was an Intern Pastor (still finishing up training), this year, she’s done with school and awaiting her call to a congregation.
We’re not here to tell you to go to church. That ain’t what this is. But we are here to tell you that you ain’t broken. You’re awesome, just the way you are. We love you. Thanks for being you.
Here’s Emily’s three minute speech from last year, and we know that someone needs to hear her message now, and are excited that you’re going to get to hear from her again on June 15.
(To clarify, Fuquay-Varina Pride Celebration is not a religious organization. People of all faiths and no faiths are welcomed and wanted and celebrated)
But we were partially successful!
