Learning my lessons, one mistake at a time… if you book a newborn PACKAGE, from here on out (2/8/2025), please read:

I charge a set deposit for newborn packages (that include maternity), and don’t require the remainder of payment, until baby is born. Maybe I’m just too soft-hearted and believe in the honesty of humanity a little too much, but I’ve finally been bitten in the rear.

From here on out, if you book a normal PACKAGE (excluding any applicable mileage costs), the deposit will be required for booking & the remainder of the MATERNITY portion will be due the day of your MATERNITY session. The remainder of the NEWBORN session will be due the day of your baby’s session.

This is the first time I’ve ever had someone back out on a newborn session (other than 1x for medical reasons). I’m a little disheartened, but I will move on and become stronger from this life/business lesson! 💪🏼

A couple life updates and announcements:

✨ I started substitute teaching at my girls’ school & I absolutely love it!
✨ I recently received some unfortunate news about my health, so I’m taking that as it comes, but it will NOT affect my work!
✨ I have canceled my trip to Michigan in April, so if there was any concern about me missing a session (& we’ve discussed this already), there are no worries now. My grandpa is coming to see me now! Yay!!!
✨ & my last update is my wedding availability; I am going to post my booked wedding dates below. Unfortunately, I’ve had to turn down several weddings, because I have 9 on the books for this year already & while I’m so grateful, I’m so sad to turn folks away! 😭🖤
