The Event Assistant will be expected to help with all aspects of the wedding/event day, under the direction of the Owner and Wedding/ Event Planner.
The assistant is to provide excellent customer service to clients on their wedding day/event day, as well as assist Wedding/Event Planner with duties such as event set up and break down, event design, Vendor relations and Marketing events. They will need to help in the ex*****on of a successful event.. Some tasks include, but are certainly not limited to:
• Behind-the-scenes creating and design of décor and event needs
• Help execute client’s wedding/event timeline.
• Assisting guests
• Setting up events and breaking down
• Assuring all event details are in place the day of the event
• Directing guests and wedding party
• Making sure the events runs according to schedule
• Greeting guests and answering questions
• Overseeing Guest book area and Photo booth area
• Interacting with venue staff and vendors
• Tidying up décor and event areas
• Attend marketing events as needed
• Execute and manage social media for marketing purposes
• Marketing and promotions
• Attend all trainings as needed
• Other duties as needed
• Other: Willing to assist at other events such as bridal shows and wedding workshops (few times a year).
