For any open dates from today until September 15th you can take advantage of our 90 day rate of $100/hr for your next event! There is a 3 hour minimum required but this includes all tables and chairs, accent furniture, prep kitchen and supplies (drink dispensers, cake and dessert stands, trays, serverware, etc.!), 3 restrooms, Bluetooth speaker system, smart TV, and more! In 6 months of being open we have hosted:
6 baby showers, 1 bridal shower, 1 rehearsal brunch, 4 weddings, 3 birthday parties, 1 celebration of life, 4 graduation parties, 1 prom, 1 yoga class, 1 retirement party, 1 anniversary party, 1 ribbon cutting, and 1 Christmas party! THANK YOU for telling your friends/family about the venue, sharing, liking, and commenting on posts, and leaving great reviews! Most of all thank you for trusting us with your life events and making memories at The White Buffalo Barn. If these walls could talk I’m sure they would have stories for the ages.

Did you know that white buffalo are not only rare (according to the National Bison Association, just one out of every 10 million buffalo born are white), but they are considered sacred amongst many Native tribes? I have received a healthy amount of compliments on our incredible antique entry doors, but the credit goes to Antique Lumber Company for sourcing them! The doors are thick, grand, unique, and swoon worthy. 🤩 The interior side of them has aged mirrors that I was able to enhance and preserve and I can’t help but imagine what their past life could have been! (Will add a pic in the comments) So very blessed to have such an incredible, local, and personable gem of a business in Gainesville TX full of reclaimed treasures! As you can see- There’s been a lot going on since the last update! In true renovation style not everything has gone to plan and for a bit we took 2 steps forward and 3 backward which has pushed back our grand opening… 6 months start to finish may have been a bit too ambitious but we are still set to be open this fall! 🍂
Here’s what’s been going on behind the scenes:
🦬 The add on portion to the existing barn building was framed, demoed, re-framed, wrapped, and trimmed
🦬 The entire exterior got a fresh coat of white paint
🦬 The interior framing went up inside the building to make up the 3 restrooms, prep kitchen, grand entrance, getting ready suite, and storage room
🦬 The interior was spray foamed for insulation
🦬 We now have water, electric, plumbing, septic, and HVAC all hooked up
🦬 We added an exterior service door off the kitchen for the ease of vendors in/out
🦬 We did some landscaping, fence fixing, dirt work, and now have a functional driveway between both entrances
🦬 We have finalized our contracts, conducted tours, and have some events on the books that have taken advantage of our renovation special AND booked some off-site decor rentals with our in-house inventory
🦬 You can be on the lookout over the next week for THIRTY new trees going in, drywall, signage, and some neat chandeliers going up!

Just a little sneak peek of the reclaimed wood tables built out of the original horse stalls within the barn 🤍
🦬 Tables and chairs are included in our venue rental for no additional fee for up to 160 guests
🦬 We even do complimentary set up and take down with a custom layout of your choice for your seating chart desires
🦬 If you need tables and chairs for an event outside of our venue we can also offer off-site rentals to suit your needs, just send us a DM!

Popping in for another quick update!
🦬 Concrete was poured last month and is curing
🦬 Church pews are moved in and will move out to their permanent ceremony location after refinishing (white!)
🦬 Almost half of our complimentary chairs are assembled and 1/4 of our reclaimed tables (sneak peak coming soon!)
🦬 A pipe fence is in progress across the frontage road
🦬 Dirt work and the add-on framing are next!
🦬 We are still on track for hosting any weddings or events September 1 and are offering renovation specials for any bookings prior to 9/1/23 for future dates 🤍
