We are officially open with already two successful events this past weekend! Read on for a little more about me and what all I have planned for this amazing space.

My name is Lisa and I own Linnybird Bakeshop that is located off of 35 in between Denton/Lewisville. I am originally from Gainesville. Those of you who have lived in Gainesville for a while might know my Grandma Frankie Lawson who was a teacher here for 40 years or my other Grandma Patricia Kee-Mason who lived here for 50+years.

I’ve baked & cooked professionally for over 23 years. At my bakeshop I branched out into hosting various events and have quickly outgrown the event area we have. When the opportunity came up for this space I knew it was the perfect place for us to grow. The bakeshop is still there and going strong, we just needed some additional party room. 😊

What’s happening in the venue now?

1. You can rent this gorgeous space out for your own party/shower/micro wedding. We have half and full day rentals available. This includes tables & chairs PLUS cupcakes from our multi award winning bakeshop.

2. Tea Parties! One of my most favorite things to host is our tea parties. The first date for April sold out in just a couple of hours. Tea parties will be scheduled on the first Sunday of each month at 1pm.

We sell the tickets in advance on the first at 7pm the month before. Example: April 1st we will have our May 4th Mother’s Day tea party on sale. May 1st we will have our June 2nd tea party, and so on. Right now tickets are sold on our bakeshop website LinnybirdBakeshop.com

What’s coming soon?

1. Murder Mystery Dinners! We’ve hosted many of these at our bakeshop and they are absolutely the best time. We bring in professional actors and an amazing chef who will treat you to one of the best meals you’ve had. We have one planned for our annual Halloween dinner but keep your eyes out if we can get one going for this summer.

2. Baking classes! We teach four classes a month at our bakeshop and they are so popular they sell out in minutes. We will have dates announced soon.

3. Pop up Bakeshop days! Every now and then we will bring our bakery to you all for a day of walk in sales.

I am absolutely thrilled to be here and I look forward to getting to know you all here in this community. 🤍
