She never met a stranger, and I’ve been blessed to inherit that from her. My Mother taught me to share something I love with all kinds of people. So here is the story of Sweet Mother of Pies.�

In 2000, we picked 600lbs of apples from one of our Granny Smith apple trees. When my kitchen was overflowing with apples, the first thing I knew I needed was a great pie crust recipe; of course, I went str

aight to my Mother! I made 111 pies and 84 quarts of apple pie filling.�

Over the years, after seeing how many pies I was baking for friends and family, my children encouraged me to start a “pie business”! My daughter, Hannah, came up with the name Sweet Mother of Pies. My son, Luke, designed my amazing logo. My son, Sam, creates my spreadsheets for ordering. My youngest daughter, Rachel, helps with the packaging. My son-in-law, DL helped create my page and works on The Pie House. Stacy, my daughter in law, helps in locating hard to find items. My children all continue to encourage and motivate me to live my dream. �

I am truly fortunate to do something I love and honor my Mother in a way that I hope would make her proud. Nothing makes me happier than knowing that in this crazy, busy world we live in I have family and friends that are taking the time to sit down and have a piece of pie! In a way, this business isn’t really about pies at all. I am simply blessed to be the daughter of the Sweetest Mother!�

I am thankful for my relationship with God who is patient and loving and wants only the best for me. All of this is possible because of Him, and to honor my Sweet Mother.�
