Essence Events was started in 1999 with its first wedding and the desire to help guide brides through all of the bliss of getting married. Once a bride myself I realized how hard it was to find vendors that met my needs. Not having a lot of time to plan, and not realizing all the details of planning a wedding, my day did not go as I expected. I then decided that if I needed as much help as I did,

then there must be other brides out there who also need the same help as well. I am committed to helping you create your dream wedding. I listen to your needs, desires and brainstorm with you to make the day even more special. I am here to help bring your ideas to life, not to tell you how your wedding should be. I bring increased attention to detail and innovative creativity to my work with clients as well as vendors. I know that every bride and groom is unique. I will seek to reflect your personality, lifestyle, family traditions and spiritual beliefs into your special day. I have years of experience. I have coordinated small intimate affairs and large weddings. Essence has worked in North Central and South Florida providing local and long distance service. The father of the bride is expected to be there with funds available to make the event happen but who knew it might be even be tolerable. With Erma’s help, guidance and contact, I was able to survive all the hurrah and the wedding celebration was delivered as perfect as any bride could ask for and any parents could want for their girl. From the beginning Erma made it easy for us to make the choices in putting together the professionals necessary for the celebration to come off without a concern. And our wedding team reassured us with their competence, their quality, and their professionalism so that we could just move through the wedding and not worry about the details – we knew that the mechanics of the celebration would happen without our having to even think about them....
