Gainesville, Florida and Alachua County residents, join us this Saturday, August 10th, 2024 at the Downtown Headquarters Branch Library (401 E University Ave., Gainesville, FL 32601) at 2pm for “Voices From The Community,” the culminating event for our public speaking & communication skills youth enrichment program, Microphone Mentors. Meet us on the 3rd floor in meeting room A to hear youth voices from our program.

Our free youth enrichment program Microphone Mentors continues the conversation this Saturday! Thank you to .williams.794 the principal of Eastside High School for visiting our class and blessing us with a wealth of knowledge and inspiration!!
You can learn more about our grant funded mentorship program and sign up at www.microphonementors.com Pre-registration is NOT required. Teens (ages 12-18) are welcome to join us this Saturday, August 3rd, 2024 at the Cone Park Branch Library (2801 E University Ave, Gainesville, FL 32641) from 2pm to 4pm. Our free youth enrichment program, Microphone Mentors is up & running!! Session 1 of 4 was this past Saturday, and we have 3 workshops coming up before hosting our first live event! Teens (ages 12-18), join us this Saturday, July 20th, 2024 at the Cone Park Branch Library from 2pm to 4pm. Learn public speaking, communication, leadership, and life skills, while boosting your self-confidence in a safe, and supportive environment! We have artists, entrepreneurs, and community builders of all types visiting these sessions, and contributing to the conversation! We hope you will join us!! It was a content filled workshop featuring conversation, education, performances, and connection! We learned a lot as a class, and we already see ways that we can improve, and expand the program! Enrollment Deadline Extended 📣 “Microphone Mentors: A Public Speaking & Communication Skills Mentorship Program,” is a Free Youth Enrichment Program for Teens (Ages 12-18) in Gainesville, Florida! 🗣️🎤🔥❤️‍🔥‼️ Learn more and enroll at www.microphonementors.com Beginning Saturday, July 13th, 2024 at the Cone Park Branch Library (2801 E University Ave), teens will meet once a week (Saturdays) for 2 hours, 2pm-4pm. On week 5 (Saturday, August 10th), our program will culminate into a free, and open to the public, live event (“Voices From The Community”) being held at the downtown Headquarters Branch Library (401 E University Ave) in the meeting hall on the 3rd floor. We discussed timelines, logistics and more. Next month we will begin the process of promoting our program, "Microphone Mentors," and we launch in July! More info coming very soon!! We have been hosting these sessions since September 2023 at the Tower Road Branch library in Gainesville, FL. However, we have started to expand to other branches!
