Enrollment Deadline Extended 📣 “Microphone Mentors: A Public Speaking & Communication Skills Mentorship Program,” is a Free Youth Enrichment Program for Teens (Ages 12-18) in Gainesville, Florida! 🗣️🎤🔥❤️🔥‼️ Learn more and enroll at www.microphonementors.com Beginning Saturday, July 13th, 2024 at the Cone Park Branch Library (2801 E University Ave), teens will meet once a week (Saturdays) for 2 hours, 2pm-4pm. On week 5 (Saturday, August 10th), our program will culminate into a free, and open to the public, live event (“Voices From The Community”) being held at the downtown Headquarters Branch Library (401 E University Ave) in the meeting hall on the 3rd floor. We have extended the deadline for enrolling in the program to Friday, July 12th, the day before the program starts. *Enrollment guarantees your seat (and shirt 👕👚) but we are willing to accept participants once the program has already started, if you contact us. *This program was made possible by a grant from , , , and the This program was also created to benefit the following underserved neighborhoods: Duval, Lincoln Estates, Porters, Spring Hill, and Pleasant Street. *Teens from other neighborhoods may enroll as well, however youth from the neighborhoods listed above will have priority in the event that a large number of teens sign up. ✍️✍🏾✍🏽✍🏿 Tag people, and/or organizations that you think may be interested, share this post, and please help spread the word!!
