Looking to increase your catering business? I’ve got what you need! Below is a listing of some of the items that will be available to view and purchase on Saturday the 14th. This is a 1-day sale for the food-service industry folks. I’ve already sold the major equipment (fridge, freezer, oven, stove), with the Proofer being the last of the major equipment that is still available. All the items will be on display on tables and shelves, some in boxes.

Hope y'all are doing well out there. Things are going OK here. Thought of my happy clients while I was enjoying my Thai Butternut Squash Soup today. I'm missing some parts of the business but adjusting. Keeping myself busy organizing, moving and planning for my 'big' going out of business sale this Saturday.

Sounds we'll be having a nice, rainy afternoon - enjoy every drop! :-)

So after telling Dylan (son) that I'm closing my business, for real, he nodded and then asked "Do you regret it?" I had to think about that. There are several business decisions I definitely regret, but I do not regret going into business. I'm stronger, I'm smarter, I'm poorer, I'm heavier. I have better clarity of what really matters, I have better clarity of what others mean to me and much better clarity of what I mean to others. I have helped many people, I have pleased even more people. I've taught the important life skill of cooking to happy recipients and even kept a few people employed along the way. Hell no, I have no regrets...I put on my big girl pants and kicked ass.

Today is the last day to place your Cuisine-To-Go orders - and then that's it! This time next week, no more cooking!

This is getting very real now...wow, can't believe all this is coming to an end. But looking forward to new beginnings, too. It's exciting and a little scary but fun to think about all the possibilities.
For several personal reasons, I'm looking for a job back in the corporate arena, rather than stay in the food industry. In the meantime, I've got a ton of stuff to sell! Oh boy, I've got a lot of stuff to sell. :-)

for pick-up/delivery next week, May 20th - 24th.

I've imposed a $100 minimum order.
But remember, most of our dishes can be

Running Take Away Gourmet has been quite the adventure and I'm sad, disappointed and a bit relieived that it's time to close the business. But, it's been 5 years since inception and it hasn't
reached the goals that I had set out to reach.

In the end, I can either run the business or grow the business,
there's just not enough of me to do both effectively.

It's been an absolute pleasure serving each and every one of the
souls that I have fed.

On to the next adventure!

It comes with a heavy heart that I announce that I'll be closing Take Away Gourmet at the end of May!

I've updated the online ordering system so that you can order anything off the menu (no more 'Weekly Menu'). I'm also implementing a $100 minimum.

Remember, most of our dishes can be frozen for up to 3 months, so order up and fill that freezer!

They're showing Breakfast at Tiffany's so I'm preparing a retro-like, breakfast-ish menu: Firecracker Bacon Bites, Loaded Baked Potatoes & Broccoli & Cheese Mini Frittatas! This is MY way to support the Hippodrome!
