The sun peeked through the mossy oaks at Cellon Oak Park, and the Bluske family brought all the love, laughter, and sunshine with them. ✨

Samantha and Will—both track coaches at UF—are raising two little adventurers who clearly inherited their joy for movement and the outdoors. Liam was full of giggles, beach-loving energy, and the kind of curiosity that keeps you on your toes (especially when the magic word was “silly goose” 🪿). And baby Lennon? Pure sweetness wrapped in sunshine.

Watching this family play, snuggle, and explore together was such a gift. These are the kinds of moments that matter—the real, in-between ones filled with joy, love, and belly laughs.

Sweet Kennedy is already one of the strongest little souls I’ve had the honor of photographing. Born with an omphalocele, she’s shown nothing but strength and light from the very start. Her story is one of resilience, love, and grace, and capturing this chapter for her family was nothing short of a gift.

I first met her amazing parents a few years ago during a teacher appreciation session, and I’ve loved every moment of watching their journey unfold. Now, Kennedy is part of my Grow With Me membership, and I already know this is just the beginning of so many beautiful milestones we’ll document together.

To be welcomed into moments like these — full of quiet strength, tender kisses, and new beginnings — is something I’ll never take for granted. Thank you for trusting me with your story. Kennedy, you are so very loved.

From wedding day to baby on the way 🕊️✨

I had the absolute joy of photographing Jaime and Cameron’s wedding back in 2022, and now, just a couple years later, I’m capturing their next chapter as they prepare to welcome their little one. Watching love grow like this is one of the most meaningful parts of what I do.

Their maternity session was filled with so much tenderness, laughter, and the quiet kind of love that says, we’ve been through so much together and this is only the beginning.

I can already tell they’re going to be the most incredible parents. 🫶

I’m not just showing up with a camera—I’m showing up with my whole heart.

I’m there to carry your bouquet, grab you a drink, fix your veil, calm your nerves, and capture the in-between magic while you live the moments that matter most.

You’ll find me fluffing dresses one second and quietly photographing tears the next. Guiding you into the best light, gently posing when you need it, but never pulling you away from the joy of the day.

📸 Hi, I’m Nikki—the heart behind Salt + Heart.

I’m not just here to take pretty photos (though you’ll get plenty of those). I’m here for the deep breaths before the walk down the aisle, the whispered “we did it,” and the way your people look at you when they think no one’s watching.

Weddings are layered with emotion—joy, nerves, nostalgia, laughter—and I believe those in-between moments are just as important as the big ones. I photograph with heart and intention, always looking for connection over perfection.

What lights me up most? When couples tell me, “This feels like us.” That’s the goal. Not just photos that look beautiful, but photos that feel like you lived them all over again.

Outside of weddings, I’m a mama to four girls, a lover of beach days, Taylor Swift songs, and storytelling that’s soft, raw, and real.

After a last-minute change of plans, Kate and Raymond said “I do” at the Old Davie School Museum surrounded by sunshine, loved ones, and a whole lot of Taylor Swift (as every perfect day should be, right Kate? 😉).

Two families. Two cultures. One love that just works. These two are each other’s balance, best friend, and person. From heartfelt vows to a packed dance floor, it was a celebration full of energy, emotion, and joy.

There were happy tears, epic dance moves, and the kind of love that makes you believe in fate. Kate, the beach-loving Swiftie with the sweetest heart. Raymond, the life of the party who never stops making her smile. Together? Pure magic.

To those that mean so much to me,

I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Thank you for your patience, your kindness, and your grace as I work through getting galleries delivered and catching up on messages. I know some of you have waited longer than usual for a response to emails and texts, and for that I am truly sorry. I have always loved being able to respond within minutes or within an hour at most, but of late it has taken a couple days to respond and for that I am so sorry.

This business has always been deeply personal to me. I pour my heart into every session, every edit, every couple and family story I get the honor to tell. But trying to keep the connection, creativity, and communication flowing at full speed on my own has been a challenge. So I’m excited to share that I’ll be bringing on an assistant soon to help take some of the back-end weight off my shoulders and allow me to better serve each of you with the care you deserve.

If you are waiting on something from me, please know I haven’t forgotten you. I see you, I value you, and I’m working my way back to the standard of care and communication you trusted me with in the first place.

About me

Hi! I’m Nicole or “Nikki”, but you clearly know that already. I’ve been perfecting my photography for over yen years. I love capturing all aspects of life from love stories, birth, children of all ages, and families.

When I’m not behind my camera I can be found on an adventure with my four amazing, wild, and sometimes dramatic kiddos. They are forever my inspiration on this incredible journey.

I love all things blue, die hard Disney fan, don’t go a day without my coffee, and have been known to binge watch Hallmark movies during the holidays! I will talk to anyone that makes eye contact and love my jeans + leggings. I’m forever a Nikon girl and self-taught. I believe in quality over quantity when it comes to friends, embracing the gray hairs, am running out of skin for tattoos, and can plan a cruise or Disney vacation with my eyes closed. But above all, my family is my light.

My full intention is to offer more than just photography. I am passionate about what I do and the people I work with. Connecting with you on a personal level allows me to go above and beyond with my work and the level of service I provide. My photography and approach may both have an easy feel, but I don’t take the responsibility of documenting your story. I’d love to hear about you and your story. No need to be strangers.
