Sagia and Sayem’s dreamy outdoor ceremony on the terrace left nothing to be desired. It was soft and elegant and most importantly the colors were done to create the couple as the focal point. Accurately balancing color is crucial to creating a visual experience and it’s one our strengths when designing a celebration space!

Mini and Robert’s elegant ceremony in the iconic Andrew Mellon Auditorium in DC right on constitution Avenue. I don’t think there is a single angle, inside or outside of this stunning building that doesn’t serve as a backdrop for wedding day images 🥲❤️

Classic, textured blooms in white and tones of green fluttered throughout the bridal party flowers from Mini’s bouquet to Robert’s boutonnière, the bridesmaids, groomsman and other sweet floral moments!

One of my absolute favorite projects this year was working on the Orchid Design course for Plant Studio at the !

The course was designed in an effort to make Orchids understandable, accessible and familiar to handle for personal use in design! Enjoy this course along with their entire line up of courses as part of plant studio on their website please! This project is so dear to me and I hope you have the opportunity to enjoy it ❤️!

As expected, I selected a shiny gold vessel because I’m Hyderabadi and have to find a way to infuse my desi roots into everything, even do a orchid course 🤣

A blending of two families, cultures and religions in an intimate Hindu Jewish ceremony at picturesque grounds! JULY 23-25 🌹 3 day masterclass in my studio!

Day 1
We’ll spend a whole day covering how to create an internal infrastructure for a successful floral and event design business. I’ll go over my consultation process, how to create a client experience, pricing, organization and all the ‘computer stuff’ 😂🥴🥳

Day 2
Hands on fun! We’re going to introduce you to all of our in studio tools for floral and production and how we prepare for onsite installation and transportation of flowers and hardgoods! Then you get to create a large installation as a group, rotating between different stations exposing you to all the parts of an install! You will work with fresh and silk floral product so you are familiar with both!

Day 3
Hands on fun but more focused on detail work and centerpieces. What is the anatomy for a centerpiece, how to price it, how to order and how to process. Then you’re all going to create it yourselves!

Two huge takeaways from this class are the business relationships you’ll make from the other students in attendance. Having industry friends is super important and this is an incredible way to build those relationships ships with like minded creatives! The other important takeaway is my one on one mentoring time for each student! My team schedules a 15 minute mentoring session for me with each student to go over any specific questions your have regarding your personal business so I can provide guidance and insight to your challenges specific to your business!

I’m so excited to meet all of you and see all the beautiful things you’re capable of! This is going to be a blast!

Learn orchid design with me and the Plant Studio!

Plant and flower friends! This is a great opportunity to learn orchid design with me from the comfort of your home and at your own pace. With plant studio, you get all of the expert instruction you’ve come to expect from the New York Botanical Garden’s continuing education program. With bite sized online courses tailor made for people who want to learn whenever it fits their schedule. Plant studio has classes in gardening, botany, floral design, landscape design and more and will let you participate from the comfort of your own space wherever that may be.
