Does getting more for your money on Valentine’s Day sound interesting??? So, listen up! When ordering flowers, you will get far more for your money if you contact a florist directly. Companies such as 1-800-FLOWERS, Ava’s Flowers, Teleflora, FTD- these are all order gatherers. They want to appear as if they are your local florist, however, they take your order and pass it along to the truly local brick &mortar florists. Along the way, they keep a large portion of your money- sometimes up to 30-40%!! So if you give them an order for a $100 flower arrangement, they send the order to the actual florist for $60-$70!! Solution- contact a local florist directly and get what you paid for. There is NO REASON to pay the middle man! Pretty Petals/Galax Florist has several points of contact by which you can be served by our amazing staff. For your convenience, you can visit our website prettypetalsfloral.net and place your order at anytime from anywhere. You may also call any of the four following numbers 276-236-2954; 276-601-6912; 276-237-1744; 336-363-4890. But our favorite way to take your order is to see your smiling face walk through our doors! Visit our Galax location at 110 W Oldtown St or our Sparta location inside Touch of Grace on Main St. Look for updates regarding our upcoming move to Galax Florist at 112 W Grayson Street coming soon. Pretty Petals is thrilled to announce the acquisition of the iconic Galax Florist, a cornerstone of our community for almost a century! Together we’re creating a new chapter that honors tradition in our community while blossoming with fresh new styles and ideas. Galax Florist has been a trusted part of this community for many years and Pretty Petals is committed to honoring that legacy while continuing to flourish. All the best to Mary Dotson for her years of dedication. We are grateful that Debbie Lineberry will continue to work alongside the current staff of Pretty Petals to serve customers in the same professional and caring manner as in the past. We ask for your patience during this transition as there will occasionally be need for minor adjustments to our hours of operation at either location. We anticipate to be fully moved into the Galax Florist location at 122 W Grayson St in Galax by the end of February.
