Hey everyone! It seems like just about everyone has a join/channel membership option on YouTube these days, but don’t worry—I’m not here to pressure you. That said, I wanted to make sure our channel membership offers something worthwhile!

Hey everyone! If we haven’t crossed paths at the track yet, I’m Kyle—nice to meet you!

I’m usually the quiet type until you get to know me, and I don’t spend much time in front of the camera. But if you’ve been around the track, you’ve probably seen me posted up on the sidelines with my camera. (And no, I’m not the little guy—he’s my nephew! He’s already well on his way to becoming a fellow gearhead.)

By day, I design and load power distribution systems, making sure they can handle storms like the one we’ve got coming this weekend. My background is a mix of hands-on and technical: I’ve got a degree in Automotive Technology, another bachelor’s in a different field, and I spent several years in the Air National Guard wrenching on KC-135 Stratotankers. Before that, I worked in a manufacturing facility’s metal shop, building isolation equipment. It’s been a ride!

I grew up in the country, which meant plenty of time tinkering with dirt bikes, go-karts, and eventually cars. I’ve tackled my fair share of projects over the years, and I’ll definitely share some of those with you down the road.

When I’m not at work or the track, I’m into fishing (check out that big drum I caught!), riding dirt bikes, and camping at the track with my camera in hand. Oh, and of course, finding new ways to annoy my wife—that’s practically a hobby!

Hey Everyone! Happy New Year! I hope everyone stayed safe and enjoyed time with family during the holidays.
I think rolling into a new year it's time for some changes around here. One is getting a little more personal with all of you and having more fun with this page. Don't worry, we'll still be posting pics and videos also!

Who has experience with Starlink roam? Specifically upload speeds? Since I had that power outage yesterday where power wasn't a problem with my hour+ of battery backup on the server and inverter generator that I can throw in within 15 minutes.... I shut down the whole tower anyway because broadband service tanked and so did the hotspot backup because the nearest 5G tower was on the same circuit as well.
I also wasn't tickled with the hotspot trackside this year doing live streams because ATT business "unlimited" isn't actually unlimited. I ended up using my T-Mobile phone half the time because after 15GB that unlimited 25mbps guarantee became "subject to network congestion"
Looking for options for the track and at home. I need at least 5mbps upload and could scrape by with a little less if needed. Willing to pay per GB over 50 and that $50/mo looks enticing.

Check out RPM Army over on YouTube. They're streaming live now 24/7, and the footage is great in the shop's background. They have a nice variation of sanctioning bodies and class racing and showcase all kinds of drag racing. Even with the hiccups, because keeping a feed going constantly is a learning experience for me, y'all have watched about 2,500 hours of RPM Army TV since Saturday night. That's crazy!

I’m back from Storm Duty down in Florida. We ended up in Garrett Mitchells area in Bradenton/Sarasota. Im still tired but we will be getting the content train back on track shortly.
