Day 7. Meet Harper! Individual qualifier for Walk Trot, Harper is a 6th grader at Stonington Middle School. In addition to riding horses and playing with her dog Luna, she also loves to play soccer and ski. She thinks being on the IEA team is fun and exciting. Besides making new friends, she has learned from her teammates to have a positive attitude and enjoy the ride. Good luck Harper!

Day 6. Meet Eleanor! Representing the team at zones in JV Novice Fences. Eleanor is a junior at Mercy High School and hopes to become an equine veterinarian. Day 5. Meet one of our individual qualifiers, Isabella in Future Walk Trot Canter!
Riding is her passion, but this 8th grader also enjoys paddle boarding and the beach.
IEA has been a wonderful experience and Isabella already can’t wait for next season.
The most valuable part has been meeting new friends and building a camaraderie with her teammates.

Day 3! Meet SECT co-captain Kylie! She represents her team in Varsity Intermediate Fences. Kylie is a junior at Bacon Academy. Her goal is to attend medical school to become a dermatologist. She values IEA as there is so much to learn and gain from each ride. Her favorite IEA draws are the ones that challenge her the most. They teach her how to adapt to every kind of ride. Addie is a junior at EO Smith High School where she excels in art and criminal justice. She loves to ride every day and help around the farm. Addison has learned through IEA that teamwork makes things a whole lot better. She is so proud of the team this season!

She values the team saying “The team is very supportive of each other like family.”
Fun fact: Colleen is on the sound crew for high school plays.

Great day at Zone 1 Region 9 regionals!
All teams pitched in to make an easy day.
No one fell off! Only 1 re ride. Proud of all people, coaches, staff and especially the horses that make all of this possible. On to Zones!

Hello everyone!! My name is Yasmine, and I was on Connecticut College’s Equestrian Team during my time there!! While at Conn, I started making crochet look-a-likes of MVHC’s wonderful horses so I could keep my favorites nearby in my dorm room! 🙂 I was a double major in Art & Art History, and I am now an art teacher!
