Spruced up this 140’ run of fence by prepping a level bed for beautiful Stella De Oro Daylilys to be planted into a natural edge river rock strip.

Happy plants start with healthy and balanced soil!

At knox flora, we hand mix our own blend of potting soil using 7 natural ingredients. Following a recipe that’s been a favorite of master gardeners since the 1960s, we end up with a loamy mix that has the correct Ph and micronutrient profile for vigorous plant growth.

Why go through all this trouble when we could very easily buy bagged product from suppliers? This method guarantees repeatable outcomes and we know EXACTLY what’s in our mix.

With a couple modifications to the base recipe, we also offer 2 other blends for succulents/cactus and a firmer mix for germinating in soil blocks.
