We sold the building. Don’t worry the new owner intends on leaving the banquet space as a rental for all of you fine folks. Moving forward, you can contact ELDO Rabar by call or text about renting.

We had another successful event at The Yard. Our large room allowed enough space for dinner and dancing. The City of Galva allowed 2nd street to be closed temporarily for Promenade.
Canton Galva Prom 2023.

This gave us Footloose vibes. This building wasn’t an old flour mill but an old lumberyard is pretty darn close.

Hey ladies! Is there any interest in a women’s defense class in Galva? The class would likely be on a Sunday afternoon, lasting for 3 hours and ran by Sheriff Jerry Montagne. There would be not cost for the class but donations towards Mcpherson County K9s would be appreciated.
If there is enough interest, I will get it scheduled.
Must be a freshman in high school or older.

Adrienne (Curl) Ruddle has kindly offered to have a pool party/get together at her house on Friday evening. This will be potluck and I will create a sign up genius and post to our page in another post. Kids are welcome to come on Friday evening! Adrienne's address is 1654 13th Ave, McPherson and this will be from 5pm to 9pm. Come ready to swim, play yard games, and enjoy a relaxing evening!

What a difference a coat of paint makes. Sheetrock helps too, with mud and tape, then sanding, some more sanding, followed by knock down texture and then paint.

Hi folks! We bought what people here in Galva call "the old lumberyard" and are working hard to make something special for our small town. Our plan is to have a rentable banquet space for parties, conventions, reunion, etc. Below you can see the picture of before we bought it (and no we couldn't keep the cars but wanted to) and our current state of construction. Don't fret my nosey neighbors and friends, we will be having an open house cause we are going to want to show off this fancy new spot that we call "THE YARD".
