What is better than a surprise engagement... a surprise engagement set up by our dear friend BREE! We "pretended" to be shooting a family session but surprised Rachel and Bernaldo by being at Joyner Park when he "popped" the question. Bree set up the entire thing for her wonderful son and his fiancé. We had such a good time! Champagne, flowers, picnic and lots of silliness ensued. We can hardly wait for the wedding!!!

It was a new experience for us working with the The NC Grand Chapter of the Order of The Eastern Star photographing their annual event. We met so many lovely people and are so impressed by the pomp, circumstance and beauty of their rituals and the amazing charitable work they do. There was fun, great food, business was conducted and new officers installed. "Elvis" even made an appearance! Thanks so much for including us. Lucky 13! The number 13 turned out to be very special for Kathy and Marvin. Their wedding at picuresque Wilkins Farm was beautiful, sweet and full of family, flowers, food, and fun. April 13 will always be their lucky day. Here are a few sneak peeks of their wedding photos. Love is lovely the second (or even third) time around if you are lucky enough to find it! A picture perfect fall day yesterday for Sarah and Ryan's wedding at Amazing Graze Barn in Franklin County. This couple have been together for so many years and finally tied the knot with friends and family cheering them on. We perfectly timed sunset photos for them and got some shots we hope they will cherish.
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Cosgrove!

An early but awesome morning at the Dix Park sunflower field today. Issa & Mitchell were our subjects for some engagement photos. They were such easy going clients and the photos came out looking as comfortable and relaxed as they were. The sunflowers are pretty much at their gorgeous peak so I recommend you get out there this week if you can!

This sweet family were our guests at our home studio last week. Baby Maverick (1 month) and his older brothers Colson (2) and Landon (3) reminded us of when our three sons were little. Joyful times but wild times too! Maverick was so sweet and graced us with several smiles and napped peacefully through it all. Here are a few shots from the session. Thanks Spencer and Ashley for a great time! PS: There's a special place of in Heaven for parents of all boys!

Wilkins Farm is a new wedding and event venue. What great hospitality from the hosts and what a beautiful space. They also honor our first responders and our military in a quiet garden!

It was a beautiful summer day for a wedding at Wilkins Farms in Coats NC yesterday when Skyler and Connor tied the knot! The sun was warm (and nearly blinding!) but this sweet couple had eyes only for each other. Wilkins Farm is a gorgeous barn venue with tons of amazing details like a loft with bride and groom suites, a true farm setting and a perfect fireplace and bar area. The food was delicious thanks to Kinlaw's in Fayetteville. Jeremy from ProFish Media captured video along with our photos. Here are a few shots of the venue, the couple and the friends and family who made it a big time!

Great afternoon with Will Puckett celebrating his recent graduation from NC State. One lucky guy! We are doing our grad shoot out at Yates Mill ...and he manages to catch a huge bass on his first cast where we were just "pretending" to fish for some photos!! The future looks great for this new grad who is starting his own electrical contracting business Bobwhite Electric Services Inc.
